Update Samsunga12 Bd Review – The Galaxy A12 is one of the most affordable members of the Samsung A-series and has been regularly appearing on our charts since its launch in December. It is very different from many of its relatives because it is one of the Samsung mobile phones that has an IPS panel instead of AMOLED, the latter being more expensive for your target budget.
And while the panel isn’t being upgraded to OLED, the Galaxy A12 still gets a few upgrades over its predecessor. For example, there is a small display – up to 6.5″. The Snapdragon 450 has been replaced by a MediaTek Helio P35 SoC, which increases the clock speed in four Cortex-A53 cores. The memory configuration is rich. From 3GB / 32GB to 6GB / 128GB This gives you many options. than adding 1GB in the base RAM.

We expect a big improvement in the camera department. The 13MP sensor has been replaced by a 48MP main camera. These 48MP Quad-Bayer (or Tetracell to use Samsung’s term) sensors are the most improved image quality between them and it’s great to see them drop down to the entry level now.

The 5MP f/2.2 ultrawide camera and the 2MP depth sensor are carried over from the Galaxy A11 and there is another addition although it doesn’t make a big difference – a dedicated 2MP camera.
The waterfall front camera has an 8MP f/2.2 selfie camera. It’s surprising to see Samsung switching from a punch-hole to a notch design, but it’s very important and we’ll be sure to look at it in detail in the review.
Another big upgrade is the battery capacity. The Galaxy A12 has a 5,000mAh memory compared to the A11’s 4,000mAh so we expect more durability. 15W charging isn’t amazing, but it’s not too bad for an entry-level phone. And unlike most recent phones this one comes with the necessary charger in the box.
Sitting comfortably at the €150 level, we are eager to see how the Galaxy A12 performs in our regular games and how it compares to its direct competitors.

I think it should be cheaper because it is more expensive than the a21 which is a better phone than the a12 and better storage and chipset. Although these phones are not the only models for 2021; Earlier this year, Samsung launched the Galaxy A12, an entry-level smartphone with quad cameras, a Helio P35 processor, and a large 5,000mAh battery.
It’s fair to say that Samsung is an expert at making high-end smartphones, but does that expertise extend to budget-friendly offerings? After all, creating an entry-level device that can stand out is difficult, especially considering the number of high-end smartphones on the market today.

First, let’s look at the design of the A12. From the back, the A12 in its black form looks good, with only the Samsung logo and the phone’s quad camera setup. That’s not to say it’s a flashy phone, but it won’t stand out from the crowd if you get it in black.

A closer look (and a change of perspective) reveals that the A12 has a two-tone matte finish on its back. The top 2/3rds of the back has a finish that feels good in the hand. At the same time, the lower third has a smooth finish, which makes it similar to the Beautiful cross. While it looks great on an entry-level phone, it doesn’t feel very basic. Although on the bright side, it is durable enough that I can use it without guilt.
On the front, you can see the A12’s 6.5-inch display, complete with a water notch above for 8MP selfies. If you’ve used an Android phone released in the last year or two, this feature is guaranteed. But again, the appearance of the A12 is not bad, and should satisfy users who want a device without too many frills.
As for its display, the Galaxy A12 has a 6.5-inch HD+ (720p) screen. Unlike most Samsung phones with AMOLED screens, the A12 features a standard LCD screen. This, combined with its 720p resolution, means that the A12 doesn’t offer a great viewing experience. Although it’s good for a budget device, don’t expect it to look as good as a mid-range one, especially with a bright AMOLED panel.
As for the sound quality, the onboard speakers can work, as long as you don’t expect high volume. This means that for intensive viewing or listening, external headphones/speakers are required. So it’s good that the A12 has a headphone jack.

The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 – a very old processor by today’s standards, although our Samsung A12 review unit had 6GB of RAM (there’s also a 4GB RAM variant) to match the chipset. So how does the A12 perform in games? It works well on popular mobile esports titles.
For less demanding games like Mobile Legends, the A12 has no problems, even when the game is set to medium settings (which I recommend keeping). If you play titles that require a bit more hardware, you may need to lower the graphics, but the A12 should do just fine.
Even if you want to play more demanding games, the A12 may not be powerful enough. So if you want to play like Genshin Impact, you might be disappointed.
The phone numbers show this. In the 3DMark Sling Shot test, the A12 scored 710. Even with Wild Life’s difficulty level, the phone was unable to perform well.

Moving on to the camera, the Samsung Galaxy A12 has a 48MP main + 5MP ultra-wide-angle + 2MP macro camera + 2MP depth sensor quad rear camera, and an 8MP front camera. On paper, the camera is good, but it is not good for night photography.
For outdoor and indoor photography, the 48MP main camera captures excellent photos with beautiful details. Yes, most phones these days succeed in this situation, so the results should not be surprising.
However, at night, the quality of the image will decrease significantly. Photos taken at night with a large shooter in the background may be blurry or lacking in detail. It doesn’t help that the A12 doesn’t have a dedicated night mode in its camera software. A bit disappointing, especially considering that other budget phones have this feature.
The same can be said for its super-wide camera. For larger shots, the A12’s shutter is good enough for shooting outdoors or indoors in bright light. Again, low light is bad, with darker images and less noise.

As for the front camera, the Galaxy A12 can take good selfies that are ready for sports, although the quality of these selfies is not very high. Also, I’ve found that makeup looks a bit too random, so keep that in mind when taking selfies.
The Samsung A12 in our review performed well, which means it should be good for most applications, including TV, email, and voice editing. Although it feels like the phone could use more power (or optimization) as the UI of the phone can feel slow at times. On the other hand, maybe the phone didn’t stop and it didn’t fall my time with it.
If battery life is your priority, the Samsung Galaxy A12 will not disappoint. Thanks to its 5,000mAh battery, the A12 will allow you to use it for more than a day on a single charge. If you have money and your usage, A12 can be 2 days.
Other goodies of the A12 include a USB Type-C port (always welcome in a budget smartphone), and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

On its own, our Samsung Galaxy A12 review found it to be an excellent smartphone. While it can’t handle all the games out there, it’s good enough for light gaming and everyday use. The phone’s camera is also excellent for good lighting, and its battery life is excellent.
At PHP 9,990 for the 6GB model and PHP 7,990 for the 4GB, the A12 isn’t the best value for money. Competition is tough in the budget segment, which means you’ll probably see a phone that’s more expensive than the A12. Even if you get a Samsung device because of its UI or design,
