Interestingly, most of these cases seem to have occurred in European countries such as Spain. I’m not sure if this is a coincidence or not, but it’s something to think about.

Experiencing a slowdown after using only 2GB of data is far from the end. Personally, I prefer to buy a 5GB or 10GB plan to avoid the disappointment of drastically reduced speeds. Facing such problems while traveling is a modern traveler’s nightmare.

The fact that Holafly has blocked Hotspot/Internet sharing with their “unlimited” data eSIM shows that what they call “Unlimited” is not unlimited.
It is reasonable to assume that this limit is set to prevent users from using too much data on too many devices. But again, this is just my guess/observation.
It seems that in the first half of 2022, Holafly updated their data plans and started promoting some (or most) of their plans as providing “unlimited” data.
