The Genius button is another tweak that takes some getting used to. This button is where you’d expect the search button to be on an Android phone, which really annoyed me when I first got it because I was used to using it for so many things. Instead, the Genius button and software let you control your phone with your voice — think of it as Google Voice Search on steroids. This can include device searches, local restaurant searches, voice calls, and more. Voice dictation works well and I use it more than I thought.
It also comes with preloaded software like the HTC Peep Twitter client, but I prefer the official Android for Twitter. I also despise the soft keyboard – it’s cramped, there’s an annoying clicking sound, and the autocorrect software is worse than with a physical keyboard. Fortunately, you can enable Swype, which makes the virtual keyboard a little more robust.

Slide uses the typical Webkit-based browser that comes with Android, and you’ll have no trouble navigating most of your favorite websites.
