Samsung’s Galaxy A series has been refreshed in 2019, thanks to its decision to upgrade its specs and offer a bargain price. Samsung Galaxy A50 is the favorite of many, but it is only available on networks.

Fortunately, the convertible is now available for pre-order on Amazon (h/t: SamMobile) starting at $350. If you pre-order now, you’ll get the Samsung Galaxy Fit fitness tracker. However, the seller claims that the product will be released on September 20.

The Galaxy A50 ticks quite a few boxes for a mid-range phone in 2019 with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen (FHD+), an in-green fingerprint sensor and a 4,000mAh battery with 15W charging.
Elsewhere, Samsung’s mid-ranger, which offers an Exynos 9610 chipset, 4GB to 6GB of RAM, and 64GB or 128GB of expandability, doesn’t fare well. Rounding out the photography side is a 25MP selfie camera in the pool and three rear cameras (25MP, 8MP ultra-wide, 5MP depth).
Our very own Dhruv Bhutani in his Galaxy A50 review thinks the device is one of the best Samsung mid-rangers in years. He praised the OLED screen, design and performance, but also liked the software experience compared to the Redmi Note 7 Pro.
“This phone doesn’t interrupt or bother you with constant authentication, it can never be broadcast. It’s very sad for me and many other users,” Dhruv wrote.

The only downside is that Samsung has already announced the Galaxy A50s with a 48MP main camera instead of the A50’s 25MP sensor. But otherwise, the A50s haven’t changed much.
