The best 80+ inch TV for most people is the Samsung QN900B. This huge panel comes in an 85-inch option and offers a whopping 8K resolution (much more detail than 4K) for future-proof scale footage.

The best 80+ inch OLED TV is the LG G2. You’ll only be able to mount this on a wall, as that’s what it’s designed for, and you’ll need some serious mounting hardware, as the G2 comes in 83-inch and 97-inch sizes. If you want to mount on a stand, check out the cheaper LG OLED C2.

The best affordable 80+ inch TV is the Samsung BU8000. If you want big and are willing to accept some compromises in picture quality, this 85-inch Samsung is a real monster and a real buy.

When it comes to delivering stunning large-format images, the Samsung QN900B is king. The 8K resolution delivers stunning detail, while the next-generation Mini-LED panel is exceptionally bright for high dynamic range (HDR) images while also offering high contrast.

Blaupunkt Cybersound 43 Inch 4k Led Tv Review: Good Sound And Sdr Performance, Bleak Hdr

Our full review of the QN900A said it “raises the bar even higher, combining high brightness, color and 8K sharpness with unprecedented contrast and backlighting to produce the most spectacular all-round images I’ve seen on a TV remote.” at an affordable price* .”

It also has a bezel-less design that’s spectacular to look at, it offers great gaming features including HDMI 2.1, the smart TV platform is great, and it has surround speakers for location audio.

The LG G2 is the best OLED TV, with excellent image processing, exceptionally bright HDR and high visual fidelity. It’s got great sound, gaming features and all the right streaming services on board, and while the 97-inch model will be overpriced (and overpriced) for the average viewer, it’s a truly unique TV. The 83-inch option is the more “sensible” purchase.

However, the LG G2 is designed to be wall-mounted, which means it won’t be suitable for everyone. We think it would look absolutely stunning dominating a rather solid wall. The box doesn’t have any bezels, which if you’re looking for, we suggest you look at the (also slightly less bright) LG OLED C2.

Samsung: Software Update Soll Fernseher Wiederbeleben

As stated in our review of the LG OLED G2: “[this TV] represents the pinnacle of OLED, with state-of-the-art picture processing, ultra-bright HDR images and incredible precision. When you add in great sound, with games and a comprehensive range of streaming services, you’re with a 4K TV that’s hard to beat.”

If you want this size of TV for the lowest price, this is the model to look at. This is Samsung’s entry-level 4K TV model, and it comes in almost every size that TVs come, including this massive 85-incher.

It’s not QLED, so it doesn’t have the stunning brightness and super-rich colors these sets are known for, but when it comes to visuals for the money, Samsung’s entry-level TVs are pretty much unbeatable. HDR performance is attractive overall, contrast is quite strong and there is a good amount of detail with 4K sources.

The processing isn’t as sophisticated as high-end kits, and that means you’ll see problems upscaling from lower-resolution footage at this size, as well as imperfections in motion handling. But then again, it does it all as well as anything at this price can be expected to do – it’s not bad at all, it’s just pushing the limits of the budget.

Lg Nanocell Tv 65 Inch Nano90 Series, Cinema Screen Design 4k Cinema Hdr Webos Smart Thinq Ai Full Array Dimming

This is Samsung’s highest-end 4K TV from 2022, which means it’s of course much cheaper than an 8K flagship, but it also uses Samsung’s next-generation ‘Neo QLED’ panel, which uses Mini-LEDs for its lighting. We celebrated many of its features in our Samsung QN95A review.

Why is it good? LEDs are 40 times smaller than previously used lights, which means Samsung can pack more of them, which a) enables high HDR brightness in a thinner panel; and b) it means you have much better control over local backlight dimming, so contrast is better compared to previous models.

The result is simply excellent image quality, especially when it comes to the color gamut and brightness offered by HDR. You get about the least amount of blooming from light to dark areas we’ve ever seen, which is definitely essential if you’re using this as a home theater monitor in a dark room. That’s pretty impressive for an 85-inch TV!

As we said in our review of the LG C2, this is one of the best TVs on the planet today. With support for all the latest standards and four HDMI 2.1 ports for console compatibility, the specs are as impressive as the visuals. It’s also positively massive, with 85-inch display options.

The Best 4k Tvs For 2023

It’s a little lower on our list than the LG G2, but you can only buy that TV if you want to mount it on the wall. The C2 model here, by comparison, is a huge mounting option. And that’s what will make it the best choice for most people. Not that most people have room for 85 inch TVs!

Although we’d recommend adding one of the better soundbars – as you simply won’t get much surround sound from this TV without it – otherwise it’s a nearly complete TV package.

When we reviewed it, we said the Sony A90J was Sony’s best 4K TV ever. However, that was in 2021, and while Sony has further developed its photography prowess since then, the replacement A90K model isn’t available on that massive 83-inch scale!

The A90J’s 4K HDR OLED panel is powered by Sony’s Cognitive XR processor, which does an excellent job of handling motion and enhancing lower-resolution content. It features Acoustic Surface Audio+ technology for sound that’s just as impressive as the picture.

Vizio P Series Tv Review

The Sony A90J is still a stunning TV, offering the best HDR performance of any TV in the range, matched by Sony’s flawless motion and scaling processing. It’s so vibrant, so rich, so attractive – it’s right at the pinnacle of 4K TVs today.

A step down from the QN95B further up the page, this QN85B is still a fantastic Mini LED or QLED TV – especially for gamers. But what do you mean it’s “less good” than the high end model?

Well, the QN85B, which like its product name comes in an 85-inch panel size option, has fewer backlight “dimming zones” and can’t muster the same peak brightness levels of its older siblings. This means it can’t deliver the same black level performance that movie buffs want. Are you not worried about these actions? In this case, you will save money!

As stated in our review of the Samsung QN85B: “If it’s brightness you want, the Mini LED is the champ. The QN85B is certainly significantly brighter than any similarly priced OLED TV – and it’s thinner at the same time, too. Its support for Next-Gen consoles couldn’t be better and its color palette is as wide as they come.”

The 3 Best Lcd/led Tvs Of 2023

Just like the QN85B is the Mini LED step down from the QN95B, this QN800B is exactly the same compared to the high-end QN900B model. But that’s no bad thing if you’re looking for a more affordable 85-inch 8K TV option, which is exactly where the QE55QN800B comes into play.

When it comes to delivering stunning large-format images, the Samsung QN800B is still very capable. At 8K resolution, detail is stunning, and while the number of dimming zones is smaller than its larger sibling and therefore less sharp with precision and brightness, it’s still an easy sell to our eyes.

As noted in our QN800B review: “In some respects,
