Maybe it’s time to admit that we can’t keep up with the naming schemes of some manufacturers, including Xiaomi. The new Mi 10T Pro, which is the subject of this review, differs in many ways from its predecessor. For example, the Mi 9T Pro was simply a rebrand of the Redmi K20 Pro – a very successful and sought-after model. But the successor, the Mi 10T Pro, is a brand new device that bears little or no resemblance to its siblings.

From the Mi 9T Pro, Xiaomi can probably justify the price increase with other features like faster charging at 33W with Power Delivery 3.0 support, stereo speakers, faster UFS 3.1 storage from 128GB instead of 64GB. On the other hand, some features like the 3.5mm audio jack and the under-display fingerprint reader are sorely missed.
