What To Get A Guy For Xmas – Earlier this month, we asked for feedback on what kind of gift guide they wanted, and gifts for men were at the top of the list…by far. I asked Anel for help with this. He is very particular about what he owns and is a true loyalist to the brands and products he loves. He doesn’t like to surprise me with gifts, so I always ask him for a list. Then give them something sentimental, like a photo book from that year or a framed photo of you and Amalia. Those are his favorite gifts.

1. Fjällräven Backpack, $98. Not all backpacks are created equal. This backpack may look like any other backpack, but it’s full of little surprises. Durable yet lightweight and unassuming, it’s exactly the kind of work bag Anel likes. It has a side pocket for your water bottle and a small fleece-lined pocket on top to keep your sunglasses or iPhone safe from scratches. Inside, there’s another padded compartment where Anel keeps her iPad (it also fits a laptop). There are 6 colors, but I personally like the navy better.

2. Anelle’s Favorite Organic Cotton T-Shirt, $98. I bought this Henry from Faherty when I was in Nantucket for the summer. She loves wearing Henleys on the weekends and I know Faherty is one of her favorite brands. Fell in love with the shirt and bought another color last week. When I asked him why he liked it so much, he said it was because he looked so hot…and he wasn’t wrong!

5. Airpods Pro, $249. What exactly are the boys and their tools? Anel is an early adopter and always wants to be the first in on something new and exciting. Airpods Pro are on your Christmas list this year. They look great with Allbirds and feel like sweatpants, so she wears them on the weekends even when we’re out and about during the day. I bought a pair for my dad and brother in law last year.
7. Shinola Runwell Watch, $550. This is quite a splurge, but it’s a truly beautiful American-made watch with a classic design that will be timeless for decades to come. I bought it for Anel last Christmas and wear it almost every day. It’s a well-made watch without the unnecessary price tag that comes with many luxury brands.

8. iPhone charger, $25. I gave this to her last year as a stocking stuffer and it turned out to be a great gift that she wears every day. I love the idea of giving away high-end everyday items (like chargers). Because you know people will use them and appreciate them. 9. Teak and Tobacco Candle, $28. Real men burn candles. That’s all I have to say on this matter. Anel lights candles in the gym to set the mood, and loves this masculine yet delicate scent.
10. Allbirds Sneakers, $95. Anel loves Allbirds so we had to stop her from buying more. He currently owns five pairs of sneakers, and we both agree that these are the most comfortable. I personally like them because they are machine washable and can be worn without socks. Looks great with jeans or exercise leggings. Take it with everything.
