As luck would have it, a year later I was diagnosed with celiac disease and a small number of other conditions. It was a crazy time to say the least. But having my Vitamix is awesome as I navigate the gluten-free world and opt for healthy green smoothies, nutritious soups, and homemade meals.

Since then, I have learned to make many Vitamix recipes and it has become the #1 most used appliance in my kitchen. Honestly, I use it every day. The versatility is second to the kitchen tools, because in addition to smoothies, soups and sauces, you can make nut milks, nut butters, pestos, frozen yogurt, puddings, sauces and more.

As we approach the holiday season, I know many of you have a Vitamix blender that Black Friday or Santa wanted. One of the most common questions I get from this community is “Which Vitamix blender should I buy?” or “Which Vitamix is better?” So today, I want to help you and give a comparison of three popular Vitamix models.

Before we get into the nuances of each model, let’s start with why Vitamix blenders are the best blenders in the world and worth investing in. And note that I’m saying “investing” instead of buying. Vitamix blenders fall into two main categories: manual blenders and smart system blenders. If you don’t care about having new technology and bursting features, you just want incredible mixing power, classic line is for you. If you like the latest technology, want touch screen controls, program time, and the best warranty on the market, the Smart Systems line is for you.

There are many different models within each line, but today I’m showing you the models that I personally made: E310, Professional Series 750, and A3500. The A3500 is part of the Vitamix range and is its flagship product. And it’s something I love and use every day.

All of these ingredients will mix, puree, chop, grind and freeze any Vitamix recipe on my website. You can be sure that they are all incredibly powerful. The nuance is more in the plan, so let’s take a look.

Vitamix introduced the E310 last year with a retail price of $350, much lower than other models. Looking at it, you will see that it has easy controls, and many of you may prefer that. There is a simple start/stop button, a variable speed control dial and a pulse button.

The main difference between this model and the other models I show you today is that the E310 has a 48oz bag and a 5-year warranty. It also has a smaller engine (2.0 horsepower vs 2.2 horsepower in other models) but available only in black.

The front monitor has a one-touch start/stop button, pulse button, program settings for smoothies, frozen desserts, hot soups, sauces and spreads, self-cleaning. It also has a timer, which you’ve seen me use when I make almond butter.
