SINGAPORE. A quadruple rating is being introduced for laundromats, and from Saturday (April 1) taps and taps are being phased out, PUB reports.

According to a market study commissioned by PUB, the market share of three-stroke models increased from 37% in 2011 to 88% in the first quarter of 2016.
PUB’s director of water supply (network), Mr Michael Toch, said the changes were part of PUB’s plan to phase out water-inefficient fittings and fixtures.
“By looking at water efficiency labels on plumbing fixtures and appliances, consumers can purchase water-saving fittings and appliances, save water in their daily activities and reduce their water bills,” he said.
