Update Windows 8.1 To Windows 10 Mobile – The last day has come. Microsoft initially planned to start upgrading some Windows Phone 8.1 devices to its newest OS late last year, but after a series of delays, it finally announced today the start of Windows 10 Mobile for (some ) of those old devices. . If previous announcements are anything to go by, the transition isn’t likely to be quick — carriers and manufacturers still have to approve the update before it hits eligible handsets, and some devices won’t be updated at all.

This was a common error on Windows Phone devices and there are many tutorials on the internet that explain how to fix it but none of them will work because the system is out of process.
The only way to update your phone is to download the Over-the-cable Update tool for Windows Phone 8.1 and Windows Mobile 10, you can find it here or here.
