Total Recall (30th Anniversary Edition)
A brand new poster and trailer have been created to promote the release. The steelbook artwork was created by British illustrator and movie poster artist Kyle Lambert. Prior to this, Lambert created the famous key art.
, TOTAL RECALL is a true film far ahead of its time. Featuring a career-best performance by the legendary Arnold Schwarzenegger, the film was restored in 4K from the original 35mm negative scan and produced in Technicolor LA in Tiff 16-bits format.
Color grading at Heventy was overseen by Jerome Bigalor. The restoration crew took special care to maintain the continuity of the special effect. TOTAL RECALL was one of the first films to use computer-generated imagery for special effects, impressively winning the Academy Awards® 1991 Special Achievement Award for Visual Effects.
The original soundtrack produced by Jerry Goldsmith also benefited greatly from digital restoration. This extraordinary restoration in its Dolby HDR version makes it possible for all generations to enjoy entertainment in cinemas with the 4K Cinema version and at home with the new UHD Blu-ray edition.

I just posted my deepest thoughts on GKids and Shout! Factory’s new Blu-ray release of Hayao Miyazaki’s 2013 animated masterpiece The Wind Rises. It hits the streets on 9/22 and it’s the new GKids/Sout! The Studio Ghibli Blu-ray reissues are definitely the definitive release of the film on disc for fans in the US. Don’t miss it.

Now news of the 4K announcement is that StudioCanal has officially set a 4K Ultra HD release for Paul Verhoeven’s Total Recall: 30th Anniversary Edition in the UK on November 23rd.
