Update Top Smartphone 2019 Review

Update Top Smartphone 2019 Review – Since its inception in 2013, OnePlus has been seen as a smartphone manufacturer that produces “flagship killer” smartphones. The devices boast much higher specifications – usually found in premium models from competing companies – at half or even a third of their price. However, the Chinese company recently shed the label of being a flagship killer maker with the launch of the OnePlus 7 Pro. The smartphone has been launched in India at Rs 48,999 for the base 6GB/128GB variant, Rs 52,999 for the 8GB/256GB variant and Rs 57,999 for the top model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Premium features like 6.67-inch QHD+ ‘Fluid AMOLED’ curved display with 90Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, Universal Flash Storage (UFS) 3.0 storage option — a first for a smartphone — triple rear camera setup. Also, the OnePlus 7 has excellent build quality, OnePlus’ trademark performance and a great interface. In this review, we’ll take a look at how OnePlus’ latest and greatest stacks up against the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S10 series, Huawei P30 Pro, Apple iPhone XS and Google Pixel 3. OnePlus Design is known for making simple phones. suitable. However, the OnePlus 7 Pro eschews the traditional approach and adopts a curved edge design inspired by Samsung Galaxy smartphones. While this isn’t a bad thing, the device occasionally reminds me of a Samsung smartphone. The first thing you notice when you pick up the phone is the weight. The device is quite heavy and weighs 206 grams, thanks to its aluminum frame and glass back. The back of the phone has a beautiful gradient color design. The Nebula Blue sample we reviewed shifted colors from a dark blue to a light blue tone at different angles. Unlike the OnePlus 6T, which had a fingerprint magnet on the front, the back of the device has a matte finish that makes it less prone to fingerprints. The OnePlus 7 Pro features an all-screen design with no notch or hole on the front and ultra-thin bezels. The immersive display design is enabled by a pop-up selfie camera that retracts into the frame when not in use. The large 6.67-inch display was great for watching movies, playing games, browsing, and more. However, during our review, we found the phone too bulky to use with one hand. As for the physical aspects, the device has the volume rocker, power on/off button on the left side, notification slider on the right side and pop-up camera mechanism slot on the top. The SIM tray is located on the bottom of the phone, right next to the micro-USB port and the sound grill. Overall, OnePlus ticks all the boxes when it comes to aesthetic beauty and is one of the best smartphones out there. The OnePlus 7 Pro features a 6.67-inch Fluid AMOLED display with no notch or camera hole. The QHD+ display will have a resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels and a pixel density of 516 ppi (pixels per inch). The screen is bright and has vibrant colors which made watching movies or browsing a great experience. While all these features make the screen amazing, the most important feature of the screen is that the OnePlus 7 Pro packs a 90Hz display. In context, almost all smartphones offer a 60Hz screen. The exception is the Razer Phone (and on tablets the iPad Pro with a 120Hz screen). Simply put, the 7 Pro’s 90Hz screen refreshes the display 90 times per second, while the 60Hz screen refreshes the screen at 60 frames per second (fps). A high refresh rate makes things like browsing, scrolling pages, and viewing images much faster. The difference becomes obvious when you go back to an old smartphone that suddenly suffers from lag. The display also houses an in-display fingerprint sensor. Not only is the sensor accurate, but it’s also one of the fastest in-display fingerprint sensors we’ve ever tested. Also, the display comes with HDR10 and HDR+ compatibility, which produces better HDR content on the screen with good color saturation and better contrast levels. The phone also has dual speakers powered by Dolby Atmos (the bottom speakers are integrated with the headphones). Not only are the speakers loud and clear, they also offer a stereo mode that results in sound quality never before heard on a smartphone. Although the bottom speaker is louder than the front earpiece, the imbalance is very noticeable. OnePlus’ performance has always been appreciated for making fast yet smooth devices. With the 7 Pro, OnePlus has kept the tradition alive. In fact, the 7th Snapdragon 855 processor is powered by a 7NM processor, making it one of the fastest smartphones we’ve tested. On paper, the Snapdragon 855 is 30 percent faster than the Snapdragon 845 that powers its predecessor, the OnePlus 6T. The processor supports 6GB/8GB/12GB RAM variants. Also, the OnePlus 7 Pro is the first smartphone with the new UFS 3.0 flash storage standard to speed things up. Not only does the phone show a significant improvement in app load times, but also faster file transfer speeds and a better multitasking experience. The 12GB RAM version we reviewed handled almost everything with ease. The smartphone comes with a built-in gaming mode that enhances the gaming experience. Additionally, OnePlus has teamed up with esports organization Fnatic to bring you Fnatic Mode. Fanatic mode comes with advanced gameplay features like additional DND mode, more focus on game performance and network improvements. A completely different experience with features like UFS 3.0 rating, SD 855, Adreno 640 GPU and 90Hz display gaming on OnePlus 7 Pro. While playing CPU/GPU intensive games like PUBG, Asphalt 9 and Sniper 3D, the device did not experience lags or screen drops. In fact, the 7 Pro has one of the best screens we’ve ever played PUBG on. However, we did notice the game getting a little warm when playing the game for longer periods of time. The phone runs on the popular Oxygen OS 9.5 based on Android 9. While many of the features are similar to the OnePlus 6T, the 7 Pro comes with additional features like a built-in screen recorder, screenshot editor, and Zen Mode – a feature that limits the amount of time you can spend on the phone. Also, it is worth noting that the OnePlus user interface is one of the most user-friendly and easy to use. The OnePlus 7 Pro’s camera is a 48MP main wide-angle camera with f/1.6 aperture for steady photography, an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 16MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with a 117-degree field of view. On the front of the device, there is a 16MP sensor housed in a motorized shell that pops up when in use. Starting with the camera UI, don’t overlook that the interface lacks basic options like changing resolution settings, taking images, or enabling AI features during image editing. The images captured by the main camera are clear and rich in colors. However, when compared to smartphones like the Galaxy S10 or the Apple iPhone XS, the 7 Pro has a few things going for it. While the dynamic range of images is good, some images lack detail and look a bit washed out. In terms of telephoto and wide-angle shots, the camera did a decent job. In daylight shots, autofocus and PDAF focus quickly on the subject. However, the cameras were disappointing in low light, as noise was noticeable in the images. The camera also acted when the subject was overexposed. If OnePlus hopes to take on the Huawei P30 Pro, Google’s Pixel devices and the Galaxy S10 series, the 7 Pro will need a software overhaul. When it comes to portrait mode photography, the camera is able to focus on the subject with surprising accuracy while blurring the background. The rear camera can shoot 4K videos at 60fps with excellent stability. A 16MP selfie camera pops up quickly when you tap the front-facing camera icon. The selfie shooter can click selfies with high detail. Taking pictures in front camera bokeh mode worked great. When the subject is well lit, it can capture sharp images with decent color. However, in dark conditions, the images turned out to be a bit grainy. As for video recording, the selfie camera can shoot videos at a full-HD resolution of 1920*1080 pixels. Battery The smartphone packs a 4,000 mAh Li-ion battery that supports OnePlus’ proprietary Warp Charge feature.
