Also, retail cycles always start ditching for new swimwear when it’s still bad outside. It’s smart to start evaluating your options now, even if you’re waiting until summer to actually use them. We received many items from Cupshe and are excited to share our review of Cupshe swimsuits!
If you’ve never heard of Cupshe before, let us give you an insight. Cupshe is a swimwear brand that has been around since 2015! Their swimwear and clothing is inspired and created for the most vibrant, fun and fearless women in the world. The Cupshe community was created to give women confidence, comfort and style all in one! Their designs include special fabrics for every body shape, and their size ranges from XS to 4X. It’s exciting to fully review Cupshe swimwear and test their coverage. Not only do they design cute swimwear, Cupshe also has some sleepwear and dresses.

We deliberately chose a range of swimwear, including one-pieces and some higher waisted ones to see if they would fit us. Honestly, we are happy to report that we can share some clear winners with you all. Plus, Cupshe is very reasonably priced (the average swimsuit goes under $30!), so no one is going to break the bank, which can be the case when shopping for a specialty! Best Tummy Control Swimsuit & Flattering Swimsuits For 2023
At this point, you know that Caitlin and I have distinct style preferences and a generous overlap. This swimsuit is a key piece that caught the attention of both. We love the high-waisted cut on the bottom and the flattering cross on top. To our surprise, it fits exactly as it does in the model’s photo! It was great for our larger and smaller busts, which is not usually the case. We both size up to XL.
Technically, this is a dress, but Caitlin ordered it with the idea of wearing it as a disguise. As you can see, the fit length is much better for good coverage length too! It has a fun and vibrant print that paired very well with the Marsala bikini above (as shown in the photo). For any shorter woman, it would make a nice dress for casual wear, but for us, let’s stick to layers over swimsuits! Caitlin is wearing a size large and definitely doesn’t need a size up, it’s a nice and generous cut.
Another piece we both like, specifically for the midi length. The crochet/70s vibe is all the rage right now and this lightweight knit is a great cover up. I will say that the split on both sides hit me at the fullest part of my hips, so ideally I’d like it to be sewn in even further. It is super soft and comfortable. We both went a large size for this icing, and again, no need to go up-sizing!
This swimsuit was probably Caitlin’s biggest hit! Go in with low expectations and be pleasantly surprised (high story of online shopping LOL). But seriously, this suit fits perfectly without pulling or flat for a lack of length. Caitlin is probably the same torso length as me at 6’4 or very close so you know it’s nice and long. This dress hits all the right notes, it shows a little skin but still maintains comfortable coverage. She ordered an XL size for this piece (so go one bigger!).

A perfect example of rust not working well is this suit. It was Caitlin’s choice, but it looked much better on my smaller chest, so we switched! It doesn’t have an adjustable strap length, so that needs to be taken into account as well, but I don’t think it’s too short on me. The top has some built-in padding/shape and I love the little lace detail on the back too. I like fun prints and colors on bikinis, so the bottoms on this swimsuit are perfect. It hits the box for modest coverage with a wider hip band, which works great for me chasing my baby! Also size up to XL in this swimsuit.
Caitlin loves the high-waisted bikini trend and this swimsuit paired with a low cut top is perfect for avoiding some of those crazier tan lines. The yellow top has a bit of padding and there is a lace at the back to adjust the tightness of the top. We found this type of detail valuable as sometimes we have two different sizes on top and bottom so you can make sure they both fit! Caitlin also chose XL, and as you can see, the bottom hits the same place as the model. Super win!
Unfortunately, after checking the website I think this one may be out of stock at the moment. I chose this first and Caitlin ended up trying it on and we realized my boob would be off LOL so she kept it. It’s a pleasant color and probably complements her tan better than my skin tone would. In addition, the detailing of the meringue adds visual interest. I hope it comes back in stock because it’s super comfortable and flattering. Plus, the waistline hits just the right place! We also chose XL for size information.
I like to call this my mom’s sports bikini. The top is secure enough to roll around and bend over to play in the sand. The bikini bottoms are definitely more racy / less coverage, but I like it! The V cut makes it taller for that ultra leggy look too! The bold, bright colors are so good and everyone said they loved the yellow backgrounds. Also wearing XL size and very happy with that choice!
Best Swimsuits For Big Busts In 2023
This was my unexpected favorite. I’ve never owned a top with such wide straps, but I think the ruching worked a lot better than I thought. The bottom is also really high waist above my navel. I know a lot of women prefer this full coverage and you would love this outfit! Plus, we love gingham and this bright red is always my favorite. Again, wearing size XL for this swimsuit.
Finally, THIS IS STRICT. It’s obviously a maxi. But when I saw it, I knew I wanted to gamble and I hoped it would strike me as the perfect midi length. Luckily I was right and it’s the perfect length! It’s a silky, light number that I’m excited to take on any beach holiday, as well as wear in the summer. Back ties also help adjust the straps/cover to fit the bodice and length. Love this dress and wear a large size, no need to size up. It is worth noting that there is no stretch.
All in all, we’re excited about Cupshe’s first ever swimsuit review! They did really well and I think for the senior level we noticed that we made all the swimsuits to size and kept true to size for outings and dresses which worked really well.
