1) You need to go to your web browser on the device connected to the Mifi. Type the IP address behind your device in the url bar. (Usually 192.XXX.X all numbers) It may differ between devices and you can try 192.168.100.1.
2) You will reach the login page, where you will enter the username and password provided on the back of your device. (both: “admin” by default)
3) You will come to a page where you have an option under “Advanced” in the sidebar, where you go to “APN Setting”. Select Profile (Profile1, Profile2… etc) at the bottom.
4) Enter “TPG” in Name and APN and leave the rest blank. Click “Save Settings” at the bottom and “Done” at the bottom. The next time you add your TPG card, you must choose a Profile name to use, without typing the APN and Name again.

Although I see the 3 logo indicator which gives full information about the connection status and such but it does not give more information like other Mifi which comes with a small LCD display.
Devices can display other information such as wifi password, admin page login password, Telco and contact number, data usage… Some provide QR code for easy communication. But the devices cost more than this.

I tried to use it more than 2 hours a day. I logged in with my StarHub 4G SIM card. Connect 3 smartphones to it. (On and off. As I ask my family to try again, I can’t control where he goes or what he does!)

However, I found 2 problems with the Mifi, so it will turn off / sleep after 10 minutes if no devices are connected to it. I tried to disable this function but I don’t see that option anywhere. The signal may also not be strong enough to pass through walls.
I brought my phone to the kitchen and the connection was weak. Although the distance is within 10 meters from the device, I think the wall between my bedroom and the kitchen is enough to affect the connection.
My phone quickly switched to another Wifi (my home Wifi) and after I finished my work in the kitchen, the Mifi was already in sleep mode.
In fact, the connection speed was limited and when I did a speed test for an hour in the test, it went as download-6mbps and upload-2mbps. YouTube can still stream flawlessly if not set to HD (720p and above).

Update: I used a device with ONEXOX SIM card (local Malaysian Telco card) and redONE SIM card, it doesn’t work at all!! No matter what I do (setting APN and resetting Mifi), the welcome icon is still red and no Wifi!!
I tried it in Cameron Highland and Ipoh! I’m sure it’s not because of weak reception as it’s a great reception when I put it on my phone, I get fast internet on my mobile! I don’t know what went wrong there but if you are accessing this abroad I think it is not a good idea! Faiba has the best data rates in Kenya. It’s funny that it’s been almost two years since they started and they still haven’t updated their data rates – something other companies do all the time to compete. I think it shows that what they are offering is that there is no need for further research. These are the same data prices for Faiba4G packages as of 5 December 2017.
If you live in an area where the network is available, but you don’t have a phone that supports Faiba4G, or if you want an internet solution that can’t be moved, and share with family and friends, then Faiba MiFi is it. way to go.

Being the cheapest data price I’ve ever been, I think it’s a good investment over expensive data packages from other providers.
