And there are also annoying ads in MIUI 13. This is definitely the biggest flaw of this skin and it affects phones in all price categories, even the most high-end phones.
Of course, you can block ads in MIUI easily, but it’s still a big problem for users. This positively affects the consumer’s confidence in the manufacturer.
If MIUI 13 boasts one of the best skins compared to other Android skins, it’s difficult. Videos, transitions between two programs, playlists or news channels while browsing the web, and more. – everything goes well.
I’ve used MIUI 13 on high-end $1,000 phones and mid-$200 phones, but Xiaomi has managed to fine-tune its features. It’s the continuity of this fluid that keeps users fresh (yes, I know, it won’t mean anything to some of us). I would like to admit that the manufacturer has recently put a lot of effort into updating selected software, especially flagships. Unlike Samsung, Xiaomi is content with most of their phones still using two versions of Android with three years of security updates.
In any case, Xiaomi has not said how often security patches will be released (monthly, quarterly or semi-annually?) and it is difficult to know how often your Xiaomi, Redmi or Poco smartphone will be updated. We can take comfort in saying that we will benefit from many MIUI updates so that we do not lag behind Android and Google in terms of time.
