Update Samsung M31 Mobile 8gb Ram Review

Update Samsung M31 Mobile 8gb Ram Review – Samsung Galaxy M31s review: Two steps forward, one step back The Galaxy M31s should have solved the problems of its predecessors, but it still loses performance by sticking to the same old chipset.

At Rs 20,499, the Samsung Galaxy M31 (review) is still a solid Android phone and is at the top end of the budget smartphone segment in India. When it launched earlier this year, it offered excellent value for money given its AMOLED display and 64 MP camera. The only thing holding the M31 back is a cheap-feeling plastic body and poor gaming performance.

It makes the colorful and flashy designs of the Redmi Note 8 Pro (review) (and more recently, the Note 9 Pro Max) appealing to buyers looking for a smartphone at the upper end of the budget segment. And then there’s the latest threat in the OnePlus Nord, which offers an extra Rs 5,000 for the money in terms of hardware and performance.

Samsung Galaxy M31 Vs Redmi Note 8 Pro Vs Realme X2: Price In India, Specifications, Features Compared

The recently launched M31s isn’t a brand new phone across the board, but it does work on some of its predecessor’s paint points to get a similar phone with a couple of tweaks. Samsung believes the changes will convince users to choose the M31s over the Redmis and Pocos.

But will they come together? And how does the M31 v2.0 stack up against the competition? Let’s find out.

The rear ‘glastik’ (plastic that feels like glass) isn’t bad and feels quite premium compared to the M31. ‘Mirage Blue’ is a slightly glossy dual tone finish. The straight sides and slightly rounded edges look very nice, as does the overall build quality. Yes, it takes fingerprints, but you can erase them pretty easily.

On the M31s, when you press the power button (correctly), it makes a nice “click”.

Samsung Galaxy M31s Is Almost Great. Almost: Review

I like that the power button (which also has a fingerprint reader) is hard to press. I think this is intentional so your phone doesn’t lock when you press the power button to confirm an app. This was a problem a year ago when I reviewed the small but powerful Galaxy S10e. On the M31s, when you press the power button (correctly), it makes a nice “click”.

Most smartphone brands don’t get the hole right. A large punch-hole cavity is placed so deep into the viewing area that the notification bar takes up twice the space of a regular notch phone.

Samsung does a good job of making the camera unit (or cavity) smaller and it sits 3-4mm from the top edge of the display. The result? It doesn’t eat up the screen, but essentially gives you more viewing space while taking up less space than a regular water drop.

Super AMOLED panels are known for their deep blacks. The panel on this phone doesn’t disappoint, even if it’s not up to par with the best stuff you’ll get on the mid-range A series. Some people prefer the default “Vivid” color mode, but I find it a bit oversaturated, with reds looking like orange borders. Once set to “Natural,” colors were accurate and deep blacks compared to regular LCD panels, making for a pleasant video streaming experience. Brightness was also not a problem as content could be read in direct sunlight.

In fact, the screen is worth the extra money over cheaper LCD alternatives from Chinese phone brands.

Given the Exynos 9611 chipset inside, the M31s isn’t as fast as I’d like. But things are still pretty smooth and apart from a few minor stutters when juggling between third-party apps, I didn’t see any issues in day-to-day use.

The UI is inherently well-designed, with an emphasis on large icons and one-handed use, where all UX elements (in native apps) are relegated to the bottom half of the screen. Add that AMOLED display to the mix and you also get features like always-on display, the phone has a larger-than-usual battery that doesn’t affect battery life.

If you’re not a fan of Xiaomi’s MIUI, you should try One UI, a great ad-free custom skin for Android.

The 64 MP Sony sensor gets the job done with warm color tones and plenty of detail, be it daylight or low light. In dim light, noise rises a bit, but it’s under control even in dark scenes. wonderful

Switch to night mode and you might be a little disappointed. Image quality is average, with aggressive noise reduction resulting in a lack of detail in textures such as leaves, walls, etc. This is especially true when there is little or no light in a scene like the one shown below.

Samsung Galaxy M31 Review — Minor Yet Worthy Upgrade To Galaxy M30s

The biggest problem is that night mode literally crops so much of the scene that it looks like a 2x crop compared to what you see in the viewfinder in auto mode. Instead of the usual 16MP output, you get a 7MP image, which is of lower quality.

I understand that clipping the sensor output gives more room for software adjustments (to compensate for hand movement). But cutting too much is taking things too far.

Also, this crop factor cannot escape from the 64 MP main shooter in night mode. Switch to the same 12MP ultra-wide camera, and the results aren’t really useful and are blurry at best.

The 5 MP macro camera was impressive. It doesn’t have an autofocus system, so you have to hold the camera steady at the sweet spot, which is 4cm-5cm from your subject. The photos are a bit soft, but as you can see in the image above the images contain a lot of detail, such as the edges of the snail shell.

Galaxy M51 Vs Galaxy M31s: What Samsung Phone Is Better?

Selfies taken using the 32MP camera come out pretty well and have good dynamic range, but are a bit oversaturated. Photos look a bit blurry in low light, but a “Night” mode is available to fix that.

4K, 1080p and 720p video recording is surprisingly available on both the front and rear cameras, but both are limited to 30fps. Stabilization is very good and frame rate is stable. Low-light footage isn’t bad either, as the camera takes an extra second to focus on the scene or object.

The 6000 mAh battery lasts a long time due to the chipset’s stingy power consumption and it should easily last you two days with non-gaming usage. The 25W charger is fast and will get you up and running in about an hour and a half, which isn’t bad considering the battery capacity.

The Exynos 9611 chipset is not a power hog. It’s perfect for a phone that’s meant to keep you entertained, whether it’s casual gaming or playing movies on that sAMOLED screen.

Samsung M31 Price In Pakistan

This chipset may not affect Samsung’s well-optimized OneUI, but it does affect gaming performance. The 9611 can run most games just fine at low to medium graphics settings, and at higher graphics settings things start to get messy.

. After testing these games, it became clear that the M31s are not meant for gaming. The phone heats up with medium to high graphics settings and takes some time to heat up. This is a problem, and after about 45 minutes of gameplay, you will experience noticeable lag, slow loading of in-game characters, etc.

Unfortunately, this is an issue with the M31 and Samsung seems to have missed an opportunity by keeping the same chipset and building in better charging speeds and design. Qualcomm’s peers are good in this regard, and the Poco X2 (730G) is a good choice if you’ve got gaming on your mind.

Audio quality through the speakers is quite loud, clear and sufficient to fill a small room. A 3.5mm headphone jack? Please…

Unless you want to avoid a Chinese product, you can’t ignore the good build quality of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro Max (Rs 16,999) and Poco X2 (Rs 17,499), both of which are more cheerful. Provide better cameras with daily use, more details and you will also get excellent gaming performance.

They cost a bit less, but they miss out on that beautiful AMOLED screen, 6000mAh battery and spammy interface. Given that, Samsung’s M31s price is justified.

If you have a Galaxy M31, there’s really no need to upgrade, that’s for sure
