If you consider the camera to be the most important feature when buying a smartphone, the Galaxy A51 can do more with a dedicated macro and depth sensor, but you might be better off looking at the similarly priced Pixel 3a.
The Galaxy A51 has all-day battery life; Amazing AMOLED screen; It’s an interestingly built smartphone, if you don’t mind the back with good customization options and a reliable camera. Unfortunately, it is let down by a slower processor and is overshadowed by similarly priced handsets with better cameras and more powerful chips. It’s a decent phone that’s crushed by the Exynos processor we’ve seen in more expensive Samsung smartphones over the past few years.
In the shadow of Google’s best phone of 2019, the Pixel 3a, it’s hard to recommend the Galaxy A51. That’s not to say the A51 isn’t a quality phone; It just lacks performance. And there are much better options at this price.
