Update Samsung A50 Rs Review

Update Samsung A50 Rs Review – Samsung seems to be in a position to hit hard this year. The South Korean behemoth started 2019 with the launch of the India-targeted Galaxy M20 and M10, which were said to have performed well. Recently, Samsung took the wraps off its 2019 flagships – the Galaxy Fold and Galaxy S10 series – just ahead of MWC 2019. Now, the company has used three new editions in the budget and mid-range – Galaxy M30, Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A30. (Samsung Galaxy A50 Review in Hindi)

Of these, the A50 leads the way, offering a host of premium features without burning a hole in your pocket. We’ve been using this A-series phone as a daily driver for the past few weeks, and based on our experience, here’s our Samsung Galaxy A50 review:

Samsung Galaxy A50s Review With Pros And Cons

Samsung hasn’t done anything fancy with the latest affordable packaging. The packaging is nice and looks like it’s breakable. Inside the box, Samsung has packed everything necessary for a new consumer. The contents of the Galaxy A50 package are as follows:

The Samsung Galaxy A50 continues the legacy of the A series. The phone looks great right out of the box. With a curved back and lightweight construction, it offers a comfortable hand feel. A beautiful almost edge-to-edge display with a U-shaped notch at the top and a small bezel at the bottom dominates the dashboard.

Looking back, it reminds me of the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 with the 3D Glasstic (as Samsung calls it) back panel. The back panel has a glossy glass finish but is actually made of polycarbonate. Samsung has cleverly contoured its edges, which makes for good ergonomics and easy one-handed operation.

The thin power rail and cradles on the right side are also made of polycarbonate – both of which provide a pleasant tactile response. All ports and speakers are found on the bottom edge, while the SIM tray goes into the slot on the left side.

As for housing quality, we didn’t notice any changes or hear any noise when we pressed our thumb on the back. All in all, the Galaxy A50 is complete and solid.

In the truest sense of the word, it’s the Galaxy A50’s display that’s the real star here. The phone comes with an Infinity-U SuperAMOLED display which is very beautiful. It has a full HD resolution and an aspect ratio of 19.5: 9. The screen is bright, shiny and looks good. In deep black and good viewing. Everything is good on the screen, whether indoors or outdoors.

The Galaxy A50 display also has a fingerprint sensor. Apart from the Galaxy S10 series, this is the only other Samsung phone to include an in-display fingerprint scanner at the time of writing. It’s an optical sensor and not an ultrasonic sensor like high-end Samsung phones.

Setting up the Galaxy A50 fingerprint scanner is a simple process. It’s not quite as fast as what you’ll get on the OnePlus 6T, but it’s still flexible.

Samsung Galaxy A50, A30 And A10 Launched In India: Price, Specs And Availability

Samsung Galaxy A50 is powered by Exynos 9610 Chipset. The proprietary chip developed by Samsung is based on the 10nm FinFET process and features eight cores divided into four clusters. While one cluster has Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.3GHz, the other cluster has all Cortex-A53 processors clocked at 1.7GHz. The chipset is paired with a Mali G72MP3 GPU to meet your graphics needs. Our Galaxy A50 review unit comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

In terms of software, the Galaxy A50 has the new Samsung One UI based on Android Pie. The new interface is designed for the high end phones we have moved to now. If you use a Samsung phone before, you will notice that the interface has been completely redesigned. It’s easy to operate with one hand, has beautiful icons and smart displays.

Samsung has added a nice ‘night mode’ to the AMOLED panel. It uses on-screen navigation buttons and full-screen gestures. Unlike the Galaxy S10 series, there is no Bixby button. However, if you use Bixby frequently, you can customize the power button as the Bixby key. The new interface is also resource-friendly. Samsung has also patched up the “screen lock” story we saw on the Galaxy M series phones.

In terms of performance, the Galaxy A50 powered by Exynos 9610 is flexible and responsive in daily use. Our Galaxy A50 unit has 4GB of RAM and we experienced a slight frame drop when playing PUBG on high settings. The game ran well with “proper” graphics and mid frame rate.

If you’re wondering how powerful the Exynos 9610 is, we’d say it’s one step below the Snapdragon 660 – which is more than enough for our use.

Unlike many other phones we’ve seen in this price range, the Galaxy A50’s memory management is the best and can accommodate many backup applications.

The Galaxy A50 boasts a triple camera system as one of its main strengths. Samsung has again opted for a 25MP primary sensor (f/1.7 aperture), which is paired with a 5MP sensor (f/2.2 aperture) and an 8MP wide-angle sensor (f/2.2 aperture). For selfie lovers, there is also a 25MP camera (f/2.0 aperture) inside the U-shaped notch.

Galaxy A50 camera app offers features like Pro mode, Live Focus, Panorama, Slow motion, Hyperlase, AR emoji and many more. Samsung has added an AI-based smart mode optimization option. Recently, Samsung has begun to add support for the advanced HEIF and HEVC formats, which can be done through the settings.

How does the Galaxy A50 camera work? It managed to produce sharp and clear images during the day. Like most Samsung cameras, the Galaxy A50 tends to keep the exposure on the upper side so that photos look sharp without compromising shadows.

Details aren’t as sharp as the Note 7 Pro, but metering is consistent, especially in subtle lighting.

Samsung has added a wide-angle camera, which is fun, and you can fit a lot of things into the frame. The images obtained from the wide aperture lens do not really match the image from the original sensor, and there is a lot of distortion at the edges.

Unlike most phones in this budget, it doesn’t have a dedicated night mode. The Galaxy A50’s camera can take decent photos in low light, but it doesn’t fare well when viewed on a larger screen.

Galaxy M30 Review: A Galaxy M20 ‘plus’ With Meaningful Additions

On the selfie front, the Galaxy A50’s 25MP front camera manages to capture selfies in perfect detail and accurate lighting. It comes with live focus option for bokeh effect which you can also adjust later.

The Galaxy A50 seems to be a well-thought-out offering. The phone seems to tick a lot of the right boxes. The design is great, the AMOLED display is great, the software UI is better than what many other Android brands offer, and the battery support is great. Daily performance should be enough for the average user for long periods of time. Overall, the hands-on experience with the Galaxy A50 is better than its specs.
