The Samsung Galaxy A50s, with its holographic color design, needs a little more expression. Many phones are usually busy with flashy designs, but the Samsung Galaxy A50s did not disappoint. It gives the phone an interesting configuration that reminds me of a unicorn spitting out a rainbow. Don’t come to me. Glitter and glitter may seem tacky to some, but it’s never too old to believe that rainbows exist.

It was a surprising move by Samsung earlier this year, as mid-range phones often come with so-so processors, which may disappoint some fans. They upgraded the processor from Exynos 9610 to Exynos 9611. Samsung’s homemade processor offers plenty of power and smooth performance. So it’s no surprise that the Samsung Galaxy A50s runs smoothly. Additionally, the phone comes with 6 GB of RAM for efficient performance.
The Galaxy A50s camera is about to get an upgrade! It has the same four cameras: three on the back and one on the front. The phone’s rear cameras include a 48-megapixel f/2.0 primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor.

The rear camera is similar to the A50, but instead of a 25-megapixel main camera, the Galaxy A50s has a 48-megapixel camera. Samsung hasn’t skimped on upgrading the front-facing camera either. The Galaxy A50s has a 25-megapixel front camera, while the main sensor has a 32-megapixel f/2.0.
Photos from the 48-megapixel main camera are bright, sharp, and clear. I took day and night photos for comparison, and the day photos are noticeably sharper. Photos at night don’t have to be bad, but the darker it is, the more likely your photos will be noisy.
An added feature of this camera is the Super Steady Mode, which will give you smooth live video even if your grip is a bit unsteady. It’s always more fun to use an ultra-wide-angle camera outdoors. The picture quality is inferior to that of the main shooter, but the wider field of view gives a different feeling.
I also tried the camera’s live focus to see how the photos turned out, and they didn’t disappoint. Sometimes it takes the phone a tap or two to focus on the correct subject. But overall, the photos turned out great. I mean, who could go wrong with a picture of homemade cookies?

As for selfies, that’s great. It has a high-resolution sensor and an available beauty mode. AR Emoji is a feature on Samsung’s flagship phones, and you can’t go wrong with it.
I checked the battery life of the phone and found it to be pretty good. I usually use my phone for gaming, work and social media. In fact, it survived about three hours a day
, a full day of work and watching Youtube videos is not bad. If you use your phone a lot, by the end of the day the battery will be around 10%. The Galaxy A50s delivers on the promise of all-day use.
The future looks bright for the Samsung Galaxy A50s. It has almost flagship features that add to its charm. I think if there’s anything to consider about this phone, it’s how Samsung has taken care of the mid-range budget for this series while trying to bridge the gap between features that could make the phone more expensive. Considering its price of Php 16, Php 990, this phone is fantastic. If you want a phone that takes high-quality photos, an attractive design, a good processor, and a solid battery, get this phone.

One of the things I really love about using the Galaxy Z Fold5 is shooting and editing short videos/short videos/TikTok. I just call it rolling from now on.
