However, like the Galaxy A32 5G, this is no small phone. At 9mm thick and weighing 203g, it handles well, but it doesn’t melt into the background as its appearance suggests.
Surprisingly, the Galaxy A22 5G has a better display than the more expensive Galaxy A32 5G, although it is still far from the stellar category. You get a 6.6-inch TFT LCD, which means you don’t benefit from the increased viewing angle benefits of an IPS panel, let alone the best of AMOLED. But here the resolution is full 1080 x 2400 or FHD+.
What’s more, you get a 90Hz refresh rate instead of the Galaxy A32 5G’s standard 60Hz, and that’s strong by default. Most budget phones give you something like this and you have to dive into the Settings menu to activate it manually.
However, it is not clear. Even when turned to full brightness, it’s perfect for indoor viewing, even on bright sunny days outdoor visibility can be difficult.

In addition, the picture quality is good and the colors look deep and accurate. You can get better for the money, but the screen isn’t really a reason to criticize a phone like the Galaxy A32 5G.

Its characteristic is the 48MP main camera that is capable of taking accurate photos in good lighting, and the battery will see you through two days of the month with easy use.
What’s not surprising is its performance, which seems slow and sluggish even for a budget phone. Currently, the display is lacking, and the phone feels bulky and heavy.
The good news is that given its age, you can probably find the Galaxy A22 5G for less than the RRP, and Samsung’s software support keeps it value for money.
