As mentioned above, the Samsung Galaxy A12s will feature an Exynos 850 chipset, which is a noticeable improvement over the Helio G35 SoC of the original Galaxy A12. That will be the only change, apparently, according to Ambhore. We’re looking at a 6.5-inch PLS IPS HD+ panel with a waterdrop-style chip housing the phone’s 8MP camera. RAM and storage will be limited to 4GB and 128GB respectively.

In terms of optics, the Galaxy A12s gets a total of four camera sensors, including a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The smartphone is powered by a 5000 mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. It will run on Android 11 and will come in three color options: Black, White and Blue.
The base variant of the Galaxy A12s with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage will be sold for €180 (approximately Rs. 15,500), while the 128GB variant will cost €200 (approximately Rs. 17,500).

Samsung Galaxy A12 has a unified design with a plastic body. The phone is offered in three color options that buyers can choose from. Among them are blue, black and white. The back of the phone has a gradient design divided into two parts. While the top has a textured striped design, the bottom is a smooth finish.
Thanks to the textured back, the phone has a good grip and is less prone to scratches and fingerprints. On the back, there is a square-shaped camera module on the back that houses four cameras. The LED light is located below the camera sensors.

The front of the phone features an Infinity-V display that houses the selfie camera at the top. The bezels of the phone are thin, but the chin is relatively thick.

Photos clicked by phone in daylight are rich in details. The images have sharp and bright colors. There is no touch of artificiality in the colors of the picture. The phone does not have a telephoto lens, but the phone offers up to 10x zoom support. Enlarged photos are obviously pixelated. The 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens will also impress you. Images are noisy and lack detail. However, portrait shots are good with a decent amount of blur.
Samsung Galaxy A12 does not have a special lighting mode feature. Despite this, the camera manages to click decent pictures in low-light environments. Photos have some detail, but the sensor can’t remove noise from images. The macro shots are surprisingly good and will impress you in the price range.
