Like a taxi driver. The modern-minded young audience may be surprised that he resembles the Joker, but Martin Scorsese has been there for a long time. It is the study of a fragile mind that becomes increasingly chaotic, isolated from society and the ordinary world around it, and falls into insanity. It’s the farthest thing from being lovable.

Nurse Maud (Morfidd Clarke) is a young, increasingly alcoholic and lonely woman who suffers from obscene language that seems to be something wrong with a hospital patient. After a while, she stopped working in the hospital and Maud was hired to take care of Amanda Kohl (Jennifer Ehle), a famous and successful dancer who has now died of cancer. Stay alone in a remote coastal city for the last day. Maude, a devout believer, believed she was touched by God and intended for some hidden purpose, and was shocked and horrified by the behavior of Amanda and her visiting friends. Amanda leads a hedonistic lifestyle and seems to lack confidence. Before Maude, Amanda begins to realize her purpose: Maude must save Amanda’s soul from eternal stalemate and bring her to light. It is necessary by any means.
Saint Maud’ Actress Morfydd Clark Is A Star In Waiting
St. Maude talks about the dangers of loneliness and adhering to purpose and reason, no matter how wrong or dangerous. Like Travis Bickle in front of him (and my comparisons may have been confusing before, but I could not shake it when I saw this film) Maude’s attempt to connect with the people around him was not. Complete success is fired from the job and then the self is absorbed. Turning to madness, his faint anger plunged into the madness of religion. God can be used to justify something.
The film manages to entertain as well as inform. The show has seemed a bit unfocused in recent episodes, with Morfidd Clarke and Jennifer Ehle both doubling down on Clarke and Ehle. This is not an easy watch. It may be boring for some people, especially those expecting a “classic” horror movie, but I found it very funny and kept spinning around my head later. When St. Maude is classified as a horror / horror story, I find it very interesting. Another play turned to religion as a remedy for dementia and mental illness.
Nurses are often accepted. They are with the patient sometimes more than the patient’s family and often do the necessary things to make the patient feel a little more comfortable. Nurses and caregivers who work with critically ill patients should be like saints because they care about people they know who will eventually die. Work can be long and hard and eventually drain. For Cathy / Maud (Morfidd Clarke; Crowle), being a nurse is even more stressful when she is a Roman Catholic (hence the name change) trying to save her patient Amanda (Jennifer Ehle).
Previously, Kathy did not save the life of one of her patients despite CPR. It is Cathy now Maude who seeks purpose in her life by adhering to the strictest teachings of the Catholic Church. When she was sent home to care for Amanda, a former American dancer with stage 4 cancer, Maud decided to call on the dancer to save her life before she went through. She tells Amanda a lot and tries to accompany her, and Amanda pretends to feel that God is close to her, as Maud told Amanda.
Saint Maud’ Review: A Revelatory Directing Debut For Rose Glass
Amanda often has a female “friend” Carol (Lily Fraser; Gentlemen) with whom she sleeps, and Maude realizes that Amanda is paying Carol for sex. Fearing Amanda’s life, Maud asks Carol to stop seeing Amanda, and Carol feels successful until Amanda comes to her birthday party, and Amanda tells all her friends that Maud has tried to evict Carol and mocks Maud for her beliefs. She. Maude is so angry that she slaps Amanda and she is fired. Disappointed, Maude starts looking for Amanda and her new nurse until she finally knows what to do. Unfortunately, Maud’s meeting with Amanda did not go as planned and Maud decided to dedicate himself to God.
Author / Editor Rose Glass (in her early days) delivers beautiful but not too quiet images and chooses a dark and gloomy palette. This detail sets the tone for the film, as well as the use of Glass to help the viewer understand Maud’s mind. Glass also gives viewers a taste of Maude’s past, accompanied by her re-creation.
Clarke does well as a religious young woman who believes her mission is to “save” others and does not know that those around her do not care that she is trying to help. . Ehl’s portrayal of Amanda, in stark contrast to Clarke’s Sainte-Maud, may provide a visual representation of conflicting views on religion and way of life while looking at death in the face. Clark also does a good job of showing optimism and hope in skepticism and disbelief.
Falling into the horror / horror category, I found it to be a series about a woman who lost her mind and lost her mind turning to religion as a solution. Maybe because I did not grow up in such a strict religious environment, I did not really understand or understand Maud’s kind of Catholicism. His sincerity and blind faith make an interesting look in people’s hearts, but there is very little in the way of evil elements. What was done
