Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra introduced the best Android phone in 2021. It has all the features you could want in a phone, especially if you like a big screen. Although it is comparable to some other competitors, it is still a good device for any Android fan.
For $1,199 — or $100 more than the iPhone 13 Pro Max — you get a powerful 6.8-inch display and two telephoto lenses for zooming. The S21 Ultra supports the S Pen, a first for the Galaxy S line.

With its 0.35-inch profile and 8.08-ounce weight, the S21 Ultra is larger and heavier than the iPhone 12 Pro Max. Unlike the perfectly flat Galaxy S21, the display rotates a little, but not too much. I’ve never accidentally touched something on the screen like I did last year’s Ultra.

One of my favorite design improvements is the 1.7x larger fingerprint sensor. It makes unlocking the phone easy and I found that the S21 Ultra didn’t ask me to press another sensor like previous phones.
The 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED display on the Galaxy S21 Ultra is simply one of the best screens on a phone. It is bright, clear and does not force you to choose between the highest resolution and the highest refresh rate like its predecessor.
Yes, you will feel it while watching videos on this phablet. The colors are as rich as ever and the viewing angles are nice and wide when watching Netflix.
But the Ultra surpasses the iPhone in its refresh rate. Not only do you get better scrolling and gaming, but you get 120Hz resolution and quad HD at the same time. So you don’t have to choose between the highest resolution and the highest refresh rate.

The S21 Ultra is also smart enough to set the refresh rate to 10Hz to help save power.
Another good news is that the S21 Ultra display is easy to read outdoors because it can reach a maximum brightness of 1,500 nits. In our tests, the S21 Ultra reached 821 nits, beating the iPhone 12 Pro Max’s 654 nits.
The S21 Ultra’s screen was pretty impressive in our lab tests, with the panel producing 81.4% of the DCI-P3 color gamut on demand, compared to 84.8% for the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
Colors on the iPhone are slightly better, with its screen getting a Delta-E score of 0.07 compared to the Galaxy S21 Ultra’s 0.35.

Samsung says the S21 Ultra has a 3:1 aspect ratio, which is 50% higher than the S20 Ultra. And there’s the Eye Comfort Shield feature, which is designed to reduce eye fatigue by limiting blue light.
It’s the camera where the Galaxy S21 Ultra is far superior against the S21 and S21 Plus. There’s a 108MP wide-angle sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera, complemented by a laser autofocus sensor.
But now that the Galaxy S22 is the new kid on the block, Samsung has announced that it’s bringing some of that phone’s camera features to the Galaxy S21 Ultra, such as night photography with a telephoto lens.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Vs Galaxy S21 Ultra
The Galaxy S21 Ultra will make you feel like an ambassador when you walk in. While the iPhone 12 Pro Max has a 2.5x optical zoom, the S21 Ultra includes two telephoto lenses with 3x and 10x optical zoom.
I was surprised how close I got to this sign across the street. At 100x, the zoom is shaky, but the new zoom lock feature lets you get stable exposures with just a tap.
The 108MP main camera can capture 12-bit HDR photos with 64 times more color data and more than three times the power of the S20 Ultra. Additionally, there is a 12-bit RAW file option in Pro mode.
I tried a camera in a nearby store to take a picture of the plant, and the green pepper in front was bright and delicious. And when you go in, you can come up with amazing details. However, the iPhone 12 Pro Max image looks better in comparison.
