About a day before its launch, the full specifications of the three models of the Redmi Note 12 series have been leaked. Consisting of Redmi Note 12 Pro, Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus and Redmi Note 12 Explorer Edition, the trio comes with attractive specifications. For some reason, the Redmi Note 12 is missing, which is expected to be the fourth initial entrant in the Redmi Note 12 series.

Xiaomi has already confirmed that tomorrow is set aside for the launch of the Redmi Note 12 series, which will be joined by at least the Book Air 13. However, almost all the first specifications have been leaked on Weibo thanks to various leaks of data . Surprisingly, only three models of the Redmi Note 12 series have been leaked and the regular Redmi Note 12 is not available for some reason. Instead, only Redmi Note 12 Pro, Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus and Redmi Note 12 Explorer Edition datasheets are available.
Not surprisingly, Xiaomi has differentiated the three models in different areas. As shown in the screenshots below, only the Redmi Note 12 Explorer Edition offers 210W fast charging, designed to fully charge the device’s 4300mAh battery in just 9 minutes. As expected, the two smaller models offer fast charging of 67W and 120W respectively. Also, the Redmi Note 12 Pro does not use ISOCELL HPX, a new 200MP camera sensor. Instead, the device makes do with a 50MP primary camera in Sony IMX766 format.
That said, all models appear to rely on identical 6.67-inch OLED displays that produce 2,400 x 1,080 pixels at a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the trio has LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 flash storage, which are relatively outdated at this point. Also, no model offers more than 12GB of RAM or 256GB of storage. Confusingly, the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus is limited to 8GB of RAM, which is 4GB less than its siblings. Unfortunately, Xiaomi will also pre-install Android 12 on all models instead of the latest Android 13. Starting with the launch of the Redmi Note 11 series, this will also be the case when the Redmi Note 12 launches in 2023 as well.

Xiaomi has brought the Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G to Europe after launching it in Malaysia and Turkey. Although Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G as a new device, it is only the rebranded Redmi Note 10 Pro that supports faster wired charging up to Android 11 and MIUI 13.
Xiaomi has introduced the Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G in Greece, just days after introducing the phone in Malaysia and Turkey. The Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G is actually a rebranded Redmi Note 10 Pro, which Kacper Skrzypek talked about earlier this month. As such, the Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G is based on the Snapdragon 732G, an 8nm chipset that Xiaomi also uses in the Mi 11 Lite and POCO X3 NFC.
For reference: Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G measures 164.2 x 76.1 x 8.1mm and weighs 201.8g. Additionally, the device has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that runs at 1080p, 120Hz and has a maximum brightness of 1100 nits. Additionally, the Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G has the same 108MP, 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP depth and 16MP front cameras as the Redmi Note 10 Pro. However, Xiaomi has replaced the 5MP macro camera with a 2MP sensor.

Also, the Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G comes with Android 11 based on MIUI 13, unlike the new Redmi Note 12S as well. To make matters worse, Xiaomi has already rolled out Android 13 and MIUI 14 to the Redmi Note 10 Pro. In fact, the Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G contains only one upgrade compared to the Redmi Note 10 Pro. Specifically, the Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G can charge its 5,000mAh battery at 67W, which is roughly double the 33W that the Redmi Note 10 Pros can charge. Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G will be available in Europe for 329 euros.

According to new reports, Xiaomi will launch another model in the Redmi Note 11 series. The device is believed to be the Redmi Note 11 Pro 2023, which may actually be a rebranded Redmi Note 10 Pro. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 2023 is expected to arrive soon and should also receive a global launch.
