The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is one of the most talked about smartphones before and after its launch. Before the launch, the smartphone was rumored to be a favorite, using its full capabilities to eliminate leaks. . Now that the phone has launched, people, including us, continue to talk about how the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G amazes with its performance and functionality. What are these features we are talking about? We used this device for two weeks before publishing this Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra review. Does the phone really wear the “Ultra” bra? Or is it just another upgrade, an upgrade. Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra Review: An Annoyingly Hit And Miss Phone
There is a lot to say about the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G. And it should be, as it’s the company’s flagship smartphone that packs the latest and greatest combination of hardware and software available. To start with, go to the general aesthetics of the phone.
Previously, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra could look similar to its predecessor. Infinity-O hole puncher that’s big, even with big arms. The S21 Ultra’s screen is now 6.8 inches tall, which is less than 0.1 inch. Adding to the amazing experience is an edge-to-edge curved screen that’s bright and vibrant. I enjoyed using the Galaxy S21 Ultra to stream and create content (more on that in the camera section of the review) during my recent trip to Triund, where I also used my phone as a user. My daily drive too.
Dynamic AMOLED display comes with a maximum brightness of 1500 nits, which is beyond the light for use even in direct sunlight. The screen supports HDR10+, which means you get perfect color and contrast while watching content on the screen. It also has a 120Hz refresh rate display. Two minor improvements are still here that Samsung has made – 120Hz at WQHD + resolution and an adaptive refresh rate display.
Unlike the Galaxy S20 Ultra, you can use the S21 Ultra 5G screen in its highest resolution and support for the highest refresh rate. I’ve been using the phone directly on FHD+ and 120Hz resolution all the time to get extra battery power, but if you’re someone who wants to use its full-screen display, the Galaxy S21 Ultra gives you a guarantee. The display’s refresh rate is also variable, meaning it automatically changes the refresh rate between 10Hz and 120Hz, depending on the task on the screen. I didn’t notice any stickiness and the overall experience was smooth.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Review: All The Phone You Need
When you turn on the phone, you will notice how fresh the design is. Samsung has returned to the board and given the Galaxy S21 Ultra a major design upgrade. The first is Phantom Black. We’d say the Galaxy S21 Ultra has the best “black” color of any smartphone. The back panel has a smooth surface that feels good to the touch while keeping away fingerprints.
What’s even better is the design of the camera module, which makes the phone look good from a distance. Samsung has integrated a camera into the phone’s frame that looks unique. Weighing over 225 grams, the high-end phone can feel bulky, but we feel the weight distribution is fine. I used the phone for no reason, and used one that hides beautiful colors and designs, and that’s a shame. I also dropped the phone more than three times but there were no scratches or cracks. You can say that the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus did its job here.
It also has IP68 certification for water, dust resistance and dual speaker installation. The speakers are loud and clear. Like most smartphones, there is no 3.5mm headphone jack on the S21 Ultra.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G has the most usable camera system you can find on a smartphone to date. It has a 108MP base camera with an improved 12MP ultrawide sensor and two telephoto lenses – 10MP f/2.4 with 3x optical zoom and 10MP f/4.9 with 10x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom.
Samsung Galaxy S21 Review: Its Value Is Its Strength
Available camera hardware is not only strong on paper, it also delivers in the real world. The improved Samsung 108MP ISOCELL HM3 sensor takes perfect pictures. Images taken with the main sensor provide vivid colors and plenty of detail. The dynamic range and contrast are also impressive. I also like the low light performance of the camera. In the night mode, the camera manages to keep good details in the shadows without highlighting too much light. Samsung has also fixed the focus problem that plagued the S20 Ultra with laser autofocus. Ultra-wide cameras are also good. Yes, there is a bit of distortion around the edges, but that’s the case with too many recordings. However, the color is very accurate and the temperature corresponds to the main sensor.
Two telephoto lenses are more than just gimmicks. Both lenses combine to zoom up to 100x. I was really impressed with the overall performance of the two mirrors. If you want the best images available, try zooming in up to 30x. Anything more will lead to loss of detail and show noise. It has been said that 100x magnification is no longer a gimmick. Depending on what you’re shooting and the distance of the object, the camera hardware combines with the controller to get the best possible results in the right light.
I shot the moon several times during my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra review and was blown away each time with the results. Samsung uses AI software tricks to complement the hardware and deliver better results. Key features such as focus tracking in the camera app and optical image stabilization help focus faster, especially when zooming in on subjects.
For selfies, the Galaxy S21 Ultra has a 40MP front-facing camera. The overall picture is as clear and detailed as expected. The color is also close to the real color and there is no such smooth skin. Samsung asks you when installing if you want to take a “natural” or “bright” selfie, which is a nice touch in my opinion. Portrait mode provides excellent edge detection and many functions, it mimics the low and high pressure mono mode of the iPhone. Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Review: Performance At A Cost, For Those After The Latest And Greatest
How does it compare to the iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 Pro? In terms of color and general details, the Galaxy S21 Ultra is very close to the iPhone. While the colors on the iPhone 12 are closer to true colors, the Galaxy S21 Ultra captures more vivid images without being too saturated. The Night Mode functionality is also good, but the Galaxy S21 Ultra takes the crown here for providing Night Mode support across all four sensors. Samsung surprised us with the whole process of the S21 Ultra 5G.
During our Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra review, we played a lot of games like Call of Duty, Asphalt 9 and so on. There is no indication of lag, even at the highest settings. Surprisingly, the device is not too hot when playing games and just warm to the touch. It was when we were shooting some video that the top near the camera module was a bit warm.

Battery life is also impressive. For a phone that runs at 120Hz all the time with FHD+ resolution, the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G 5,000 mAh battery gives me more than 6 hours of screen-on (SoT) time.
