Update Power Rangers Gifts Review – The latest episode of Power Rangers is Power Rangers Dino Charge and the first episode will air on POP on Monday 31st August. In Dino Charge, Power Rangers must protect the Earth from intergalactic bounty hunters who are looking for ancient energies left in the care of the dinosaurs. When Starship destroyed the dinosaurs, the power was lost and the Power Rangers must find them first. We were sent some of the new Dino Charge toys to review.
Bandai sure knows how to make packaging look exciting and even though I knew they were sending us the Power Ranger Dino Charge Toys to test, I couldn’t help but get excited when I saw the box…just as excited as my 2 young men both when they saw it.

The line includes a variety of toys, including Power Rangers figures and full-size weapons. We were sent a Deluxe Dino Charge Morpher with some extra Dino Chargers, a Red Power Ranger action figure and 2 of the Power Rangers Megaforce magazines.

The Deluxe Dino Charge Morpher is the centerpiece of the range and the one my boys were most excited about. A gun shaped and really tough battery operated morpher that has flashing lights and a huge range of different sounds when you plug in different Dino chargers.
The morpher is easy to use and my 5 year old had no problem working it out for him. Hit the back switch and put the Dino Charger into the Morpher. Turn the rear barrel and pull the trigger and unleash your dinosaur power.
This is pretty much the toy every rambunctious 4-8 year old wants, and my youngest son especially plays with it a lot. He loves that the different Dino Chargers have a different associated dinosaur with different sounds, and the Morpher has enough buttons and moving parts to please any toddler who needs something to do all the time.
Dino chargers can also be used with the app. on your smartphone or tablet to transform into Rangers, then you can play and fight baddies. A variety of Dino Chargers can be collected, available individually or bundled with other Dino Charge toys (which also activate them), including Battle Gear and Zord Builder set toys.

We were also sent a Red Ranger Action Hero figure. He comes with his Morpher and Dino Saber and stands 12.5cm tall. For ages 4+, a figure model of this size has a very impressive 13 points.
When reviewing the Bandai Sprukits, we were blown away by the range of poses we were able to achieve, and it’s great to see so much care put into this figure. Although he’s not as comfortable as our Sprukit Level 2 Batman, for £9.99 any Power Rangers fan will get a balanced figure that stands easily without support and is actually playable.
Adaptability gives your Power Ranger character and means he can travel in any suitable sized vehicle and do all the usual Power Ranger activities, including some incredible ninja jumps.
Before I finish, I have to mention the Power Rangers Super Mega Force magazines. They are really cool, with craft activities and puzzles, and obviously some comic book stories. Each issue also comes with a free plastic toy that is well made and of good quality. There’s plenty to keep a youngster happy for a few hours.

Bandai’s Power Rangers Dino Charge toys are recommended for ages 4-10 and are available from all good toy stores now. My 5 year old especially loves the Dino chargers and my 6 year old loves the action figure even more. They are very true to the tv show and have withstood my boys rough play over the last 4 weeks so durability and battery life is good.
The Red Ranger is £9.99 and the Dino Charge Morpher is £29.99. Additional Dino Chargers are available for around £8 in a pack with the Dino Zord.
