Update Photoshop Lightroom Review – Adobe announced updates to Lightroom CC 2015.8, Lightroom Mobile for iOS 2.6, and Adobe Camera Raw. The Adobe Lightroom CC update brings a new reference view for comparing a pair of different images against each other, as well as improvements to the zoom-to-fill and zoom-to-fill performance. This is accompanied by a Camera Raw update that brings support for new cameras, lens profiles and bug fixes.
The Lightroom for iOS update is the most advanced of the three, bringing a new editing interface designed to make it easier and faster to find tools and use them to edit images on your iPhone. The new editing interface is complemented by a new info section with options to add copyright information, captions and titles on mobile. In addition, the iOS app features a new capture interface that Adobe describes as similar to the interface in the Android app, giving users access to a new ‘Pro Mode’ with better control over the iPhone’s camera functions.

Adobe Lightroom Classic Review (2022)
Lightroom Classic is the original, desktop-first version of Lightroom, and it’s still the most powerful. You can sync image collections through your Creative Cloud account, but only with Smart Previews (which are still editable online and in the mobile app).
There are actually two versions of Lightroom. The Lightroom we review here is the classic, traditional version where you store your photos on your computer – Adobe calls it a “desktop first” approach. Lightroom CC (or just ‘Lightroom’) is a new, simplified version that stores your photos online using Adobe’s own servers. The editing tools are very powerful. You can seamlessly edit a RAW file with JPEG and TIFF images, without any intermediate processing – in fact, Lightroom Classic is great for RAW files, as you can bring back extra shadows and highlight details that JPEGs lack, and choose a different white balance. The old split toning panel has now been replaced by a three-sided shadow/midtone/highlight color grading panel to broaden its appeal to color photography. I personally prefer to use profiles or HSL settings.
