One, I’m always cold – so I love a good jacket, but I also love the way they make outfits. Over the years I have created a series of coats and the best part is that this post has many classics that will be in your wardrobe for years to come. Bonus – they are all pet friendly.
It was definitely included when I wrote about the coat last year. J.Crew has sold this coat for years and I now own it in three colors. Not necessarily, of course, but I really like it and love all the colors offered. I have it in gray, green and this year I bought this camel version.

I wear almost all J.Crew coats in Petite 0. Their smallest size (00P/XXSP) runs really small, which is great for plus size possibilities! The sleeves fit me perfectly, hitting right on my wrist. The coat sticks out a little at the bottom and the fur around the skirt is parted. This coat is medium warm in my opinion. It’s lined and the hood is a nice touch, but the coat I’m going to share is warmer. .
J.Crew coats are expensive, there’s no denying that. Of course. They run huge sales on them during the holiday season. If you don’t need the coat right away, they’re still heavily discounted after the holidays. I will keep an eye out for holiday sales and share them in my story. You look at them. J.Crew Factory makes a similar coat called the Val Parka. It looks uniform and also comes in petite. I have not tried the fur coat myself, but I have tried the “city coat” from the factory. produce. The J.Crew Factory City Coat is very similar in style to the Lodge Coat. It’s not hot, but it comes in petite so you shouldn’t have any fitting problems. If you want to see it like I put it in this post from a few years ago.
Topcoat is an excellent wearable finish. It’s a warm soft coat, but don’t expect it to pack a lot of heat. It suits me and I’m thankful that I can pull off a modern outfit with this petite-friendly outfit. It is fully lined and nicely done.
Best Selling J.crew Coats And What You Need To Know
This coat is lightweight and not as warm as the other two options. It will keep you warm, but probably not in 30 degree weather. It also fits a little better than other coats. I put in 00P.
This jersey has the potential to sell out before the end of the season, but it will sell like the other two jerseys.
I recently found a coat on Amazon that is similar to the J.Crew Topcoat. It’s light, but it’s a row. Be prepared to embarrass it when it comes in the mail, but it’s a decent choice.
I first came across this coat last year when I wrote about Amazon Activewear. I originally bought orange/brown and finally decided to replace it with black. This $50 sweater is super warm and a great all around sweater purchase.
J.crew Lady Day Coat Review
This jacket fits true to size and I wear an XS. It has a little extra room, but I appreciate it so I can fit a bigger jacket under it. The sleeves have thumb loops so they can be pulled down over your hands and make it easier to wear gloves in snowy weather.
I added a teddy coat that I found at Kohl’s to my reel and then realized that it was mostly sold out. I wear the coat in XS and appreciate that it’s a wearable way to wear a modern look. Even though that coat is sold out right now, I think you can find a great one at Kohl’s. I recently found out that they carry some petites and I plan to respond with some goodies!
I’ve included some options to give you something to choose from, but I don’t think you’ll need all of them. Instead, I will choose the one that best fits your lifestyle. If you want a comfortable coat, I would choose the Chateau Parka. If you want the sweater to be tailored up and down and want to be slimmer, I’d go for the sweater. The top is great if you need to dress up for work often, and the Amazon Puffer is an affordable option if you’re facing snow and wet winters.
