Now I love a good doodle! When I’m on the phone, in meetings, or even writing to-do lists. I love adding doodles to the edges of my paper! I’ve heard that drawing helps you stay focused in meetings. But if you focus too much on the design. I guess it can be a bit distracting.

I subscribed to a lovely craft magazine called Mollie Make, but after 5 years of subscription I realized I couldn’t keep all of them forever. It only takes up a lot of space! In an attempt to organize a little I pulled out all the patterns and projects I thought I could work on. Put it in a plastic wallet or backpack. Then I realized I needed a file or folder to store.

I pulled out 3 rings of old kraft paper. A few from the back of the cabinet that fit my pattern. But it’s pretty basic and boring. They want jazz So I thought a little doodle would be fun.

A little creativity is required for this craft. But you don’t need crazy artistic skills. The design I made is very simple if you break it down step by step.

What you write in the loop file It depends on what you keep in there, of course.

Planner Review: The Knitter’s Planner 2020

In my big order First, I sorted out all the ideas and patterns from magazines. then gathered into piles to decide how I divide and overcome them. I settled on crochet, knitting, and then paperwork and embroidery. Because I only have 3 notebooks, but there are not many. Actually, I only decorated 2 ring binders. Part 3 is still to be decided. So my knitting pattern is in a very simple and boring loop file now!

Of course, adding words is entirely optional. but if you want that’s what i did

Type whatever word you want with fancy fonts, mine is “Bromello” which I downloaded from somewhere long ago. I’m afraid I can’t remember where.

Draw a line of words on the back with a soft pencil. Then place the paper face up in the ring binder. and draw the line again The weak version will be transferred to the ring folder. I overlaid this faded version with a pencil again, and then with a marker. I used the original type as a guide to increase the thickness of the letters and give the appearance of the letters.

I finished the design by adding a few polka dot butterflies to show where they are. Dotted pebbles at the bottom and ladybugs/little ladybugs

For the second 3 rings folder I overwritten it a bit more with a writing instrument. I started in the middle and continued to increase my number of beautiful Doodles freestyle in 3 loop file.

For this folder I start with the letter I love Lindsay Ostrom’s drawings and typography – The Creator of Cuteness. I had her book when I was a teenager and was excited to meet her on Instagram a few years ago. Her calligraphy art is really cute. She sells books and courses as well as sharing her tips, tricks and beautiful creations online.

Having received the word, I began to write. This is a totally free technique. Draw flowers, leaves or swirls, combine elements with squiggly lines or explode one element next to the last element. just build it slowly and enjoy the process. Use these pictures as a guide to get you started if you like or are satisfied with your stuff.

It’s not fast, but that’s okay, because everything doesn’t have to be fast. It’s about enjoying your doodles. It’s something to really pay attention to. Spend a little more 2 minutes a day or spend an afternoon writing the entire message. whatever works for you When you’re out of ideas Stop and think again in a day or two. I covered the front and spine of this ring binder for a week. mostly while watching TV I’ll probably do the back and the interior at some point too.

When i was at school I studied art from ages 14 to 16. We made a large art book at the beginning of the school year to keep our work entertaining while I was on the bus to and from school. It is made of thick red cardboard glued onto a piece of hardboard. Hold it in place with a couple of bulldog clips. Over the course of two years, we’ve decorated our folders. Some made a collage, some drew it, and it was a surprise. I wrote it myself! It took me 2 full years to completely cover up mine. Like this ring binder. I keep increasing until there is no space left I don’t know what happened to it. But when I scribbled in this ring binder I am reminded of my old art folder.

I added the same words on the back of the ring binder as the front and added flowers. So they’ll look great on my bookshelf.

It wasn’t until I put the cute ring binder on the shelf that I knew I had to flip the writing to match my craft book. I had never noticed before how the writing of the book proceeded. Maybe it’s another story that everyone knows except me!
