Last week this new J.Crew Villa Coat in heather sand was $100 off (an additional 20% off when combined with code CARDLOVE made the member’s estimate for the month $212 after two discounts). A regular size 00 is very big, but I can’t go down because the sleeves of J.Crew outerwear are always too short in my smalls. You can see my sleeves here. The side entry pockets are a bit lower so it’s a bit tricky to reach as seen in this clip. It’s a mid-weight coat that’s the same weight as the Chateau Parka I’ve had in 3 colors over the years ( reviewed here ).

Regular size 00 measurements are: 15.5″ shoulders, 14″ upper arm circumference, 11.5″ wrist circumference, 23″ sleeve length, 41.5″ chest, 42″ waist, 42″ hem and 34″ hem. Full Length Suitable Reference I am 5′ 2.5″ and currently 114-116kg.

The shell is 80% wool and 20% polyamide, and the lining is 100% polyester. The fabric material of the Italian stadium has a beautiful texture as you can see in the above photo of the interior lining. Personally, the heather sand color is a versatile brown/oatmeal color. The photo above with the lining is the most accurate photo of the sand color and fabric texture as this layer looked lighter and cleaner in the other photos.

Update 11/7: The regular size 00 version of the Velvet Sherpa arrived in the mail the other day. The necklace is very oversized due to the thicker material. It looks like I’m carrying a dirty carpet into the bathroom for a coat. The necklace is really gorgeous on a petite frame, especially since I recently got a haircut that will help cover up some of the necklace. I decided to reorder the heather sand colorway of Willa’s regular coat to try it on in a size 00 small since it’s on sale for $164.50 (55% off) to satisfy my curiosity.
The faux fur and shell lining are 100% polyester. Regular size 00 measurements are: 15.5″ shoulders, 10″ wrist circumference, 23″ sleeve length, 40″ chest, 40″ waist, 40″ hem sweep and 33″ total length.

Outspoken brand Napapijri knows where it’s at when it comes to producing practical yet stylish outerwear. In this case, it’s this polar buffer. It certainly ticks all the boxes when it comes to the perfect winter coat: comfortable, warm and still fashionable. The boxy shape is a bit more cropped than we’d hoped, but the shape is flattering, and we love that the hem is adjustable so it can be cinched and cinched in for warmth.
