Redmi Note 12 Pro + 5G continues to offer a unique feeling in the hand thanks to its glass body. The back moves towards a flat plastic frame, and although the phone weighs around 208 grams, it feels comfortable to hold for long periods of time. Due to the well-distributed weight, the phone does not feel heavy in the hand. The device also has an IP53 rating for basic splash protection.
Xiaomi sent us the Arctic White color of the Redmi Note 12 Pro + 5G, which in my opinion is the best of the lot. The glossy color makes the phone premium. Despite the glossy paint job, the white helps hide fingerprints and is more reflective compared to Obsidian Black and Iceberg Blue. What I don’t like is that because of the camera, the phone is very unstable when used on flat surfaces.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro + 5G continues to feature a 3.5mm audio jack at the top, followed by a cutout for the second speaker, microphone and IR emitter. A curved edge display with smaller bezels helps offer a more immersive viewing experience. It’s just a matter of preference, and if you’re someone who wants a flat display, the Redmi Note 12 Pro + 5G won’t disappoint. The Redmi screen also refreshes between 30Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz and 120Hz depending on the screen.
