Of course, it was interesting to see how it would work with the fountain pens in my notebook, which I had never tried before. The paper is surprisingly thick, but that doesn’t always mean it’s a fountain pen. So is this a good gift or just another diary?
I have to admit, these notebooks make a great first impression. The thick, thin leather lining feels really good. Faces are surprisingly thick and look good with rounded corners and contoured facial lines. These notebooks also have some extras, which I’ll show you below. As I said in my first impression, the cover of this notebook is very beautiful. It’s a hardcover that comes in a variety of colors like brown, gray, blue, black, and teal, all of which are faux leather. There’s also a sew-on version, but I’ve never used it, so I can’t really speak to the look and feel of it. The spine of the notebook has an elastic pen loop. The loop easily accommodates pen sizes from Lamy 2000 and Kaweco AL Sport to Sailor Pro Gear and Pelikan M800. The back cover of this laptop has a very low profile elastic closure.

Inside the front cover, you’ll find a small logo and a few lines for your contact information. Inside the back flap, you’ll find an expanded pocket that can hold random pieces of paper, tickets, or other flat items. Heavy papers (like a manilla file folder) will order the paper inside. All papers are very yellowish cream color. The color is very similar to Midori MD paper, but the lines on this notebook are light gray instead of blue. I love the lines in this notebook. They are light gray in color and light on the face. It’s easy to use, but if it has text, it seems easy to ignore.
The product page says that this laptop is actually made. The paper on this notebook is heavy, but I was very impressed with how smooth the pages were. The seam seems tight and I don’t think it will hold up over time.
Now let’s talk. The weight of this paper is 120 gsm, which makes it very thick. I have to admit, I’m a sucker for thick paper like this. It is very convenient to work with it. However, it doesn’t matter if he can’t stand the pen. Luckily, this notebook paper does a great job handling fountain pens! In addition to my usual paper tests, I used it as a journal and it held up against several pens and pencils. Montblanc 149 (very wet) J. Infused with Herbin Li de Te, I noticed some flaking and bleeding, but everything else was great. Because of its thickness, the paper shows zero on both sides of the page, making it easy to use.
This paper shows some shading and shading, but not much paper. However, this is not a bad thing, because the plugs that can be used for paper that shows more paper cannot be used here. I wrote a page with yama-budo on the Tomo River paper when it dried, and it did not swell when I ran my fingers through it. This lower coating means faster drying times, which is a good trade-off for many people. I’d say it shows enough highlights and shadows to keep things interesting.

I will also add that all the features of this laptop are perfect for bullet journaling. It doesn’t have an index or page numbers, but you can easily add them yourself. Compared to many other notebooks, this book is more like a journal. I think it would be a great choice if you use a bullet journal for thoughts and memories as well as daily organization. I love this notebook even more than Leichtturm!
When I first got this notebook I was a bit skeptical at first as I had never heard of it before. After using it for a while, I became a big fan. I don’t own a hardcover notebook, and I think I still prefer a softcover, but this laptop, especially for the price, is a great laptop for anyone in the market for. different plugs and pens are fine, even if you come across a combination that bleeds a little, the paper is thick enough that it won’t affect what’s on the other side. The Lemome notebook has features that work well for daily use or bullet journaling. If possible, I recommend getting one and trying it out.
