I was lucky enough to get my hands on the new X-Men “Mutatis Mutandis” Reversible Bomber Jacket from RSVLTS and now I fight the urge to wear it every second of every day.
The Narrative Experiment That Is The Marvel Cinematic Universe
The new jacket comes in two different styles. The first (depending on how you look at it, I guess) is a colorful style reminiscent of the 90s / X-Men: The Animated Series blue and yellow suits worn by the 1960s X-Men. The iconic X-Men logo on the back of the shocks also features graphics that further deliver the 90s vibes.
The second design is a more understated, neutral style with a gray and black color scheme and the Xavier Institute logo on the back. It’s a slightly more formal look, perfect for talented youngsters roaming the halls of your school.
As for the jacket itself, the fit is perfect. It’s incredibly comfortable and runs true to size, so you won’t need a brain to figure out exactly what you want to order. It’s a little heavier than I would have guessed, so it will definitely keep you at least a little warmer. Not great for summer in the Savage Land, but perfect X-flair for roaming the Canadian tundra with Wolverines. Well, maybe not in a cold environment, but you get the idea.
