The update carries the firmware number M315FXXU2CVCE and, according to the company, is an over-the-air update with a file size of 2 GB. However, for beta testers, the OTA update size will be significantly smaller. Samsung recently rolled out the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update for the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G.
Additionally, with this update, Samsung brings visual changes through Color Palette, a new RAM Plus extension that allows users to choose how much virtual RAM to add, smart widgets, camera improvements, and more.

The Samsung Galaxy M31 is set to launch in India on February 25. The phone has already been touted on Amazon India and the e-commerce site has revealed some details. A new leak now claims to reveal all the details about the phone – its full specs, design, color options and even the price. The Samsung Galaxy M31 has surfaced in several alleged renders that are said to offer a glimpse of the phone. The phone features a square L-shaped design on the back, a rear fingerprint scanner and a waterdrop-shaped display notch.
According to a tweet from whistleblower Sudhanshu Ambhore, the price of the Samsung Galaxy M31 will be around 500 rupees. 15,000. That is close to Rs. 15,999 previously reported price. Ambhore also shared alleged renders of the phone in three color options – blue, black and red – hinting at likely color options and revealing design details. Aside from the quad camera and waterdrop notch, there’s a slightly visible chin at the bottom of the display, and the physical volume and power buttons are placed on the right edge of the phone.

The tipster claims that the Samsung Galaxy M31 will come with dual SIM support and a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display (1080 x 2340 pixels). It is expected to be powered by the Exynos 9611 SoC and has 6GB of RAM. In addition, the phone is said to have 128 GB of built-in storage and the option to expand it further using a microSD card (up to 512 GB).
As for the cameras, the tipster claims that the Galaxy M31’s quad-camera setup includes a 64-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 5-megapixel depth camera will include camera with f/2.2 aperture and another 5-megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. At the front there will be a 32-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The phone is expected to feature a 6,000mAh battery, which has also been confirmed in teasers, and the Galaxy M31 will support 15W charging speeds. The device measures 159.2 x 75.1 x 8.9mm and weighs around 191 grams.
