All Things Crafty Box Review And Competition
For every box sold in February 2020, Papergang will donate £1 to the ME Association. The box was designed by Jenny McGibbon, who lives with this chronic illness and writes about her experience on her blog, This Is What They Call Recovery. The box includes an interview booklet with Jenny and Neil Reilly, Chair of the ME Association Board of Trustees.
The design of this box has a 1970s feel with stickers or decals with slogans such as ‘You Matter’, ‘Holiday Bills’, ‘No’ and ‘Sympathy Over Comparison Please’. I really liked the “you are allowed to spend energy on yourself” – a really great (and important!) message for everyone! Jenny’s blog also has a 70’s style so it makes sense that her Papergang box has a similar theme!
This A4 journal looks like a school notebook with “Bedor-ish” writing on the cover. The front and rear inner covers have a sticker design. The tips are: Was it hard to remember something that made me smile, did I take time for myself and forget that H2O existed (again)? There are 44 pages and no story, so you can start anytime.
I love the journal! I wish there were more pages and the pages were a little thicker – but this is a great format for a memory journal! Offers will be great to complete at the end of each day. I also really like that it’s timeless.

It’s green with ‘inhale x exhale’ and you can really see the 70’s style in this one! It’s just not for me, but it reminds me of school swimsuit patches. (Maybe it just has negative connotations because I’ve never liked swimming!) While it’s cute, I can’t see myself using it or attaching it to anything.
The washi tape has the same slogans as the inside cover of the magazine on a pink background, which I thought was very cute. I don’t know how I’ll use it, but it’s great to cut out and use as a journaling decoration. I was a bit disappointed that there wasn’t a slogan sticker pack (that would have been nice!) so this would be a good alternative!
I’m sure both a wooden ruler and an eraser would come in handy! I’m always losing erasers.
Finally, this month’s calendar has 31 days, so it would be great to use for March. It has the same slogans in the background, which I really like. Its handheld style fits the A4 magazine perfectly. As I said before, I’m a bit confused that they have no history and are always set to 31 days because it’s a bit restrictive. Fortunately, March 1 this year is a Sunday!
In Game Purchases
Box packaging has changed – Paper boxes are now just a cardboard box (instead of having a card sleeve) with a tear sheet on the front. I like that they are trying to reduce waste in the box, but I miss the cleanliness of the old packaging. When I opened the box, I found tissue torn and stuck to the glue on the front of the box, which was a little disappointing to see as soon as I opened it. But this is purely aesthetic and really a minor issue!
Personally, I also feel that this month’s box was not as good a value as previous boxes. I’d like to get slogan stickers, maybe instead of stickers – just not something I use. The ruler and eraser are useful, but much cheaper to buy elsewhere of similar quality.
The journal is great though and I hope to use it as a journal in the future. However, the thickness of the paper is an issue – I don’t want my pencils to bleed through the paper. Fingers crossed it holds up well!

The Minister noted that the Gambling Commission last September published a statement signed by 16 gaming regulators, which aims to analyze the blurring of the lines between video games and gambling, raise awareness of these practices and encourage dialogue between gaming administrators and game developers. games. I welcomed this announcement last year, but had hoped that more action would be taken by today.
I then wrote to Ian Rice, CEO of the Video Standards Council (VSC) and suggested that the inclusion of in-game purchases would affect the age rating of games. In my opinion, ratings should reflect the appearance of in-game purchases, how much they affect the player’s progress through the game, and include any methods designed to pressure players into purchasing them. I have now received a reply from Ian Rice which I have posted below:
