A 1975 movie poster by Roger Castell showed a great white racing from the depths toward an unsuspecting female swimmer.
Fortunately, there were no bathers in the water when this photo was taken near Guadalupe Island, off the west coast of Mexico.
Shark photographer and filmmaker Euan Rannachan, 32, was in a cage just feet from the big predator when he snapped this perfect picture.
British-born Evan, who also teaches underwater photography, said it was a shot he had never been able to get before.

“We’re on the boat called shark warriors, and they throw these two-legged tuna and bring the shark closer to the surface.
“We have the best shark wrestler in the world, Crazy Lewis, who is on the boat when he’s in the shark cage.

“Sometimes when the wrestlers are playing with the sharks, the sharks p** down and go under the boat and the bait, so they come with a missile and take it.
“That’s what the octopus did here, it must have got fed up with the mess on the ground and went under the boat.
