But if you’re expecting the sensor on the 12 Pro Max to push more comfortably than the 12 and 12 Pro, you might be a little disappointed. In many cases, with the benefits of a rear end outweighing the sensor’s embedded smarts, I struggled to tell the difference. More natural in portraits; You’ll see slightly brighter colors in darker scenes, and slightly grainier colors in some situations. However, you must look for these differences.
Also, in my opinion, this is the best camera phone for photo quality. The bar has been set high for competing devices that will fit in 2021. The OLED screen is bright (1200 nits when viewing HDR content) and in terms of color accuracy, the 12 Pro Max is my favorite. It offers a lovely combination of saturation and realism that is often lacking elsewhere.
