After two video reviews of the new Power Rangers Lightning Dragon Dagger Prop Replica Collection, it’s good to take some time and think about the whole thing in writing. Today we go deeper. It’s always refreshing to review a product that not only makes me happy, but gets a lot of positive feedback. And I hope that many of you were interested, wanted to see parts of this game, contributed part, and were interested that I did not have Dragon Dagger 2010 version or imported Japanese metal furniture original.

Power Rangers: Lightning Collection
To start with the packaging, this thing is very attractive. The graphic and design choices are smart. What I personally don’t see is the word Hasbro written on it. In the Bandai Legacy Pack, there is “The Story of the Green Ranger” with more details (I should delete those parts for those who don’t know, I thought), but has the Hasbro version and this random sound that doesn’t work. does I the words in the box will look like they were written in 10 years and I am a “give me the details, evergreen light”. Example from the box:
Trump’s knife? So-and-so’s sword? No, it isn’t. This is Green Ranger’s Dragon Dagger, playing off the Dragonzord character line…without the mouth moving!
Although the Bandai Legacy replica is age 15+ (the usual age recommendation for collecting), Hasbro says 18+. But trust me, nothing here warrants an 18+ age rating. This toy is lost somewhere between a high-end toy and a prop replica. All materials are plastic and very light. This is a good thing! I was comfortable letting my five year old daughter play with it, unlike the Bandai proplica version which is a very heavy die piece.
Moving on to the game itself and its features- this is where most fans were most gung-ho about what I missed in my video reviews. I’ll be the first to say that I go out of my way to hide the light. This game is bright and beautiful! The freedom of play is appreciated when what it achieves is pure. But if it’s full of tricks, I don’t know what we’re getting at.

The size and shape of these things are great. There is a battle paint job on Ice Blade. It’s not necessary, but it does make a difference. This distinguishes it from vintage and heritage models. All three have one thing in common – the blade is a soft gray plastic and I think that’s the safety standard. But for me as a fan, it’s a good thing to bring the three together. What I don’t like is Hasbro’s decision to make all the colors wearable. The “golden” brown plastic they chose is dry. I find myself missing the metallic gold and sheen on this dragon dagger. But once the light switch is turned on, it creates a wonderful light and electric sound. It also looks good in its plastic case (super dinky and cheap). The stand is a piece that Bandai collectors wanted to come with their Legacy Dragon Dagger.
Between Bandai’s legacy Dragon Dagger and Hasbro’s new Electric Dagger – Bandai is giving Hasbro a boost. It’s clear and crisp and loud and I love the way the flute sound is depressed in the Bandai. The sound quality is good on the Hasbro, but not the Turbo. There was also an assumption by supporters that the gray “mouth piece” was something you could hit and make noise, but this is not the case. It’s plastic. It doesn’t work.
You can press three buttons to hear different sounds: the “Dragonzord play” sound, the “Dragonzord command” sound, and a song clip.
Theme Song By pressing this little gold button, you can listen to “Title Track Remixes”. There’s no feature, a “no, we can add some audio elements here…so…” kind of gimmick.
Power Rangers Lightning Collection Mighty Morphin Green Dragon Dagger
) is a “twist at the bottom of the sword” method of “making your own music”. Honestly, this is where I wish I never found this method. The sword makes little rattling sounds, and according to some fans online, if you press the buttons in a certain order, you can make the sound that the Japanese version of Dragon Field originally made.
This looks like a great feature- let’s just disguise it as a great easter egg, shall we?! The honky-tonk style of music was embarrassing and childish. This is what fans hate and say “hey, deal with it, it’s child’s play!”
Well… it says 18+ on the packaging. And I’ve been to a lot of stores that have movie boxes and things that say 18+ and not one of them played the little cent trumpet from Power Rangers Sword.
All in all, this game is cool as hell. You know you want it and you probably buy it. It does that

This size is Bandai’s legacy sword? no. Does it replace the delicious taste that is the first vintage? Well, I literally cried when I got mine. As a prop copy, this thing is average. But for a high-end display or gaming console that makes you believe? It is very powerful! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again- I would collect every dragon dagger that was under my radar if it was available and I could. There is no question. 100%
I give the Hasbro Power Rangers Power Rangers Dragon Dagger Prop Replica 4/5 Magical Stars. Is it delicious? It just needs to keep its mouth shut in the dark.
