For example, if you’re taking a selfie, you can focus on framing and ask your friend to use the S-Pen button as a remote trigger to click the photo.

I don’t spend time on daytime photos on the Note 20 Ultra, because I don’t have any problems. The main camera produces detailed images that are sharp in the center and at the edges. Color reproduction is good, although images are a little high quality. The 5x optical zoom and ’50x Super Resolution Zoom’ are a nice touch compared to the ‘100x Space Zoom’ we saw on the S20 Ultra. It’s still noisy during the day, but it’s not a job to frame a job. One thing that was noticeable was the slow shutter speed.
Low light photos on the Note 20 Ultra are amazing. Yes, the Note 20 Ultra, like the S20 Ultra, is able to soften the situation, which sometimes seems unpleasant. However, this is something that may be fixed in future app updates. There’s a dedicated ‘Night’ mode, which can bring out details in shadowy areas, but don’t use it in bright areas, because you’ll see colors you can’t see in space. . In some low light images, you can see the change in color temperature.
When it comes to selfies, I read online that the Note 20 Ultra doesn’t need to be transparent. I’ve found that to be true at times, even though I don’t see any texture on my face smoothing out. But as the light level decreases, the noise cancellation algorithm does the same. When shooting in a room under bright lights, I noticed how cameras tend to blur facial textures in group shots. In front of the video camera, you get a 4K recording mode at 30 and 60 FPS, but only in the first camera. Turn on ‘SuperSteady’ mode for still images, and dial up the video resolution to Full HD, which is annoying for a flagship phone. The Apple iPhone released 4K at 60 FPS with stellar image stabilization from the iPhone X – a two-generation old phone. This feature gives the iPhone 11 series a huge advantage over the Note 20 Ultra. Full HD video is good and I found the S20 Ultra less responsive to capture, when it comes to it. I really liked the live video mode on the Note 20 Ultra because the background is clear when shooting and it works with both the rear and front cameras.

SuperSteady mode produces excellent images. The video quality is among the best for Android smartphones. Similar to the S20 Ultra, with reduced light levels, the image becomes softer and the focus is on the hunt. You also get an 8K 24p shooting mode on the Note 20 Ultra, which is a nice trade-off, but you’ll need to hold the phone on a tripod to get stutter-free 8K videos. Also, 8K video results in a lot, so you have to be careful when shooting. When creating content for YouTube or social media, you get the option to add a USB or Bluetooth microphone for clearer audio.

The Samsung Galaxy Note series was known for its large displays, but this year, the Galaxy S20 Ultra itself came with a 6.9-inch display. The back of the Note 20 Ultra is covered with Gorilla Glass Victus, the latest generation of durable glass, which Corning claims is the toughest glass ever on a smartphone. The camera module on the Note 20 Ultra seems smaller, as we saw on the S20 Ultra. As a result, dust collects on the sharp edges of the module. It has three cameras, laser autofocus element and dual-tone flash. The Corning Gorilla Glass 6 covered module is the only thing that is shiny on the back. Placing the phone on its back will place the phone at an angle. Samsung never bundled a smart case with the Note 20 Ultra, so that’s something you’ll end up buying. If the phone is in vibrate mode, placed on a hard surface such as a table with a glass top, the phone will ring and the notification sound will improve.

A metal frame wraps around the sides, and has a glossy finish which means it will pick up scratches. The top and bottom are flat. Both sides bend ― front and back. The transition between the Corning Glass Victus, metal frame and Gorilla Glass 6 display is smooth. You only have the volume rocker and the power/standby button on the right. There is no dedicated Bixby button; Samsung seems to agree with its addition. The hybrid dual-SIM card tray is on top, while at the base you have a USB Type-C port and a speaker. The S-Pen has been moved to the left, which may annoy some Note users, as the S-Pen is in the lower right corner. Not much has changed
