It’s always easy to review a product that not only inspires me but also fills the entire fan base with enthusiasm. Starting from the collection, this item is very beautiful. The illustrations and design choices are clear. What I’m not looking for is the tone Hasbro wrote. On the Bandai Legacy collection, there is a “Green Ranger” story that is very detailed (I think those panels should be removed for those who don’t know), but the Hasbro version has a sarcastic and informal tone that I don’t like . . The dictionaries on the box seem 10 years old, and I’m a “give me the real, green news” kind of person. Example from the box:

Hasbro Lightning Collection: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers
Although Bandai Legacy Proplica is rated 15+ (the age recommendation for collectibles), Hasbro says 18+. But trust me, there’s nothing going on here to warrant an 18+ age recommendation. This toy is lost between a high-end toy and a toy model. All materials are plastic and very light. This is a good thing! I was happy to let my five-year-old daughter play with it, unlike the Bandai Proplica version which has dead parts and is too heavy.
Moving on to the game and its features – this is where many fans are excited about what I missed in my video reviews. I’ll be the first to say that I didn’t get away with not turning on the light. This toy shines, and it’s great! Freedom in a toy is best appreciated when it works well. But when it’s full of tricks, I don’t know how difficult it is for all of us.
The size and shape of this item is great. It’s a painting that has captured the battle on the surface which is cool. Not necessarily, but different. This is different from the Vintage and Legacy versions. All three are the same thing- a soft brown plastic face, and I think that’s a safety standard. But for me as a fan, it’s good to combine all three. What I don’t love is Hasbro’s decision to stick with all the colors. The yellow brown “golden” plastic they chose has faded. I don’t think this dragon sword has any gold or glitter. But when that light switch turns on, it emits a very cool glow and an electric buzzing sound. It also looks very cool on its plastic base (it’s very small and compact). The stand is something that some Bandai collectors want to bring with their Legacy Dragon Daggers.
Between Bandai’s Legacy Dragon Dagger and the new Hasbro Lightning Dagger – Bandai beats Hasbro. It’s crisp, clear, and resonant, and I love how the mouth of the flute presses against the wrapper. Hasbro’s audio quality is good, but not turbo. Some fans thought the gray “mouth” was something you could blow into and make a noise, but it’s not. This is plastic. It doesn’t fly.

The sword makes a short horn sound, and according to other fans online, if you press the buttons in a specific order you can summon a Japanese-made sound. similar to the Dragon Dagger in the original.
This looks great – let’s not hide an Easter egg, eh?! Hanky’s low-key musical style is very embarrassing and childish. It’s the kind of thing that makes fans cringe and say “Hey, do it, it’s a kid’s toy!”
