As I mentioned at the beginning, the video quality of The Dark Knight Rises Blu-ray is simply stunning. Avoid watching the DVD version at all costs. Blu-ray players can be had for around $60 right now, so if you have an HDTV and haven’t yet invested in 1080p, now is the time. Like “The Dark Knight,” the Blu-ray of “The Dark Knight Rises” features IMAX scenes that fill the entire screen, and I’m sure if you don’t have a 70-foot TV, it’s as close as yours. The Dark Knight was made just as Christopher Nolan intended. As most home theater enthusiasts will agree, video is only half the battle. The Dark Knight Rises offers an impressive 5.1 audio mix that really showcases your surround sound setup.

Is The Dark Knight Rises A Bad Film Or Simply Misunderstood?
The production department was definitely my favorite part of The Dark Knight Rises special features. Here we get a great behind-the-scenes look at almost every major scene in The Dark Knight Rises. From the stunning plane heist in the prologue to the epic Batman vs. Bane fight scene, we see all the hard work and preparation that went into making this movie. I was amazed at how much detail and planning went into something that only had a few seconds on screen. There are 12 behind-the-scenes videos in total, and if you watch them all at once, it will take just over an hour.
One of the biggest disappointments of The Dark Knight Blu-ray was the lack of behind-the-scenes footage of Heath Ledger’s Joker. That’s not a problem here, as the “Characters” section includes three behind-the-scenes main characters. “Bruce Wayne’s Journey” looks at our hero and how Christian Bale adapted to the role. Gotham’s Reckoning gives us a fantastic look at how Tom Hardy transformed into Bane. Plus, we get to see how Bane’s costume and mask were created, as well as some really cool concept art. “A Girl’s Gotta Eat” follows Anne Hathaway as she prepares to play Selina Kyle/Chicken. Just like in Bane’s feature film, we see the process of making Catwoman’s costume.
The final installment of The Dark Knight Rises expansions is split into two parts. The first, “Large Format Shadows and Light,” gives a behind-the-scenes look at the IMAX cameras and how they were used to make The Dark Knight Rises seem larger than life. “The End of a Legend” is a fitting way to end the special features and includes interviews with all the main cast, crew and, of course, Christopher Nolan. Everyone shares their thoughts on finishing the trilogy after 8 years of hard work.
This is a fun addition that will appeal to Batman fans of all ages. This hour-long documentary takes a behind-the-scenes look at the iconic Batman vehicle. From Adam West’s 1966 classic to Christian Bale’s Tumbler, every Batmobile that’s ever graced the screen is represented here. This documentary features commentary from the talented engineers who built these cars, as well as directors Christopher Nolan, Tim Burton and, yes, even Joel Schumacher.

Noch scheint es ihn auch nicht zu stören, dass ein terrorist names Bane obviens Vorbereitungen dafür trifft, eine großangelegte offensive gegen Gotham zu reiten. Bane, der due to einer alten Injuredung nur mit einer Maske auftritt, die ihn mit Schmerzmitteln versorgt, nimmt sich als erstes den Geldadel vor. Bei einem Angriff auf die Börse löscht er dabe auch fast Waynes gesamtes Kapital aus, was Bruce dazu zwingt, das Cape wieder angulegen. In einem Zweikampf mit dem bulligen Widersacher unterliegt Batman. Bane bricht ihm das Rückgrat und lässt ihn in einem grubnartigen Minen-Gefängnis zurück. Von dort soll Wayne mitansehen, gotham untergeht. Und wie es scheint kann der einstige Beschützer der Stadt nichts dagegen unternehmen…
Vier Jahre nach The Dark Knight (nach imdb user immer noch auf Platz 4 Best Film) brought Christopher Nolan’s first Batman trilogy The Dark Knight Rises zum Abschluss. Dabei hatte er nach dem Tod von Heath Ledger as Joker im zweiten Teil noch gezögert, überhaupt einen dritten Teil zu inschenren. Doch nachdem ihn die Story convinced, setz sich Nolan dann doch auf den Regiestuhl. 250 million. Dollar bekam er dafür an die Hand, was genug Geld sein sollte, um ein weiteres Spektakel auf die Leinwand zu Bringen. Mit etwas Abstand zum Kinostart seinerzeit kann man The Dark Knight Rises auch Durchhaus confirmed, dass i genau das geschäft hat. Mit teils spectakulären Szenen (Banes “Rettung” aus dem Flugzeug zu Beginn) and bisweilen brutalen Fights schlägt der Film immer wieder wuchtig zu. Womit er sich schon mal grundlegend vom Vörgenger versichten. Nolan tat gut daran, den künstlerischen Stil des zweiten Teils nicht einfach kopen zu wollen. Denn daran hätte die Contsetzung nur scheitern können. Instead of einen völlig irren und psychopathischen Widersacher zu wählen, ging man den eherclasssischen Schritt, der Hauptfigur einen schier übermenschlichen Gegner gegenüber zu stellen. Einen Typen, der schon äußerlich unbesiegbar scheint und der durch seine gruselige Gesichtsmaske etwas von einem monster hat. Zu Tun. War Viellichkeit aber genau das das problem. Viele Zuschauer vermissten die Elemente, die den Progenger ausgemacht hatten und – seien wir ehrlich: JEDER Bösewicht nach Heath Ledger hätte es sehr sehr schwer gehabt.

Tom Hardy might not let them. Er macht seine Sache gut. Aber irgendwo fehlt der Figur doch etwas die Leidenschaft, die man noch in Ledger Part gelegt hatte. Allerdings ist das nicht das einzige Problem von The Dark Knight Rises. Vielmehr krankt das Drehbuch or zuambierten und zahlreichen details. Als Zuschauer kann man da schnell schon mal den Overview verlieren – gerade was die Machenschaften im Hintergrund oder die Kommentare auf die aktelle (Finanz)Politik angeht. So, ärgert man sich schnell über das überhebliche Auftreten der Stadtväter und ist gar schockiert über das weinerliche “mich mag keiner mehr”-Getue von Bruce Wayne. Es dauert keine halbe Stunde und man ertappt sich dabei, dass man Bane und seinem Feldzug Erfolg wünchtung. Denn das, was er zu zerstören versucht, beim sich beim Zuschauer überhaupt nicht als rettungswürdig erweisen. Eine Stadt, die in ihrer Corruption und Arrogance erstickt und deren einstiger Beschützer nichts anders tut als sich selbst zu bemitleiden – da kann man schon mal nachvollziehen, wenn das jemand zerstören möchte. Genervt darf man übrigens auch über die deutsche Synchronstimme von Bane sein. Der previously as Stammsprecher von Hardy established Torben Liebrecht, dessen Stimm-Organ weit tiefer reicht, wurde hier ausnahmsweise durch Tobias Kluckert erstätts. Dessen Interpretation des Schurken grenzt aber bisweilen ans Lächerliche und findet sich im Original, so nicht wieder. Auf diese Weise konterkariert er die bullige Statur Banes, wast zu dessen Schrecken beiträgt. Gerade die Endungen mancher Sätze zieht Kluckert tonal bewusst nach oben, was wie ein hysterischer Sing-Sang wirkt, der
