Update Christmas Present For Whiskey Lovers Review – The Jack Daniel’s Tasting Calendar listed below was sent to me by Jack Daniels to help with this post with no strings attached. I thank them for their generosity.

It should come as no surprise that I am a frugal man. After all, I was married to an accountant for more than 25 years. I doubt we would have made it this long if I didn’t like to pinch pennies. It is in light of this innate penny pinching that I love to head to the Holiday Gift Set Aisles of my nearest Whole Wine.

I mean, I like free stuff. Especially the free stuff that comes with the stuff you can already buy. And, of course, I got one or two of those gifts.

The 16 Best Whiskeys To Gift Of 2023

But it made me think, “My readers are pretty smart spenders; I bet they like the free stuff too. ” And so this post was born. I went to my PR people to ask a question: “What are you giving away for your wine this year?” Between the responses to the emails and my own “research” of local liquor stores, I wrote a list of Holiday gifts to look out for. This is not meant to be a complete list as some companies do not respond .

Let’s start with what happened to the question. I didn’t get an answer to my question from Maker’s, but I did find this great gift at Total Wine for $21.99. Includes a 750 mL Maker’s Mark bottle and two glasses with the maker’s logo and “Christmas Sweater” design etched into the glass.

Maker’s 46 includes a 750 mL Maker’s 46 bottle and a “Limited Edition” bottle featuring the maker’s “S IV Star” logo. I’m not sure how this product will be used, but it’s great. And it can be a fun conversation starter at your home bar. Whole Wine currently sells this for $25.99 in my area.

Four Roses has packed two rock-shaped ice creams along with their Small Batch Bourbon this holiday season. It’s only available in select states but should cost you the same as a small bottle without a gift (about $29.99-$34.99). I think this is in my area. I can see myself playing with these once or twice before trying to convert them to a solid direction…because I’m a Four Roses fanboy and tinkerer.

Imperial Tribute Whisky

Ezra Brooks is giving you the full “on the rocks” experience by including an ice mold and rocks glass with a 750 mL bottle of their 90 proof Ezra Brooks. I haven’t seen this locally, but they say it should cost you the same as Ezra Brooks always does. I love that glass (can you tell I have a thing for glass? You can blame my wife for that.)

Although this is not a bottle of free gifts, it is a fun one for those who like Crown and Crown flavored. This would be perfect for someone like my brother who doesn’t drink alcohol, but likes to take a bottle of Crown Apple ice fishing with him. This will give him four whiskeys that he probably already likes and will entice him to try the other two, which he might not buy on his own. This is available nationwide and the MSRP is $44.99.

This has not been confirmed by the PR people, but I saw it on the shelves this year. It is a 750 mL bottle of Crown Royal and two rocks glasses with the Crown Royal logo on them. My Whole Wine has this for $21.99.

The rest is less about the “goodies” and more about the experience. Jack Daniel’s was generous enough to send this over so I could photograph it myself…and yes, drink it too. According to the press release:

The 30 Best Gifts For Whiskey Lovers Of 2023

“The limited-time menu features 24 windows designed to showcase special Jack Daniel’s products each day leading up to the December holiday, making it the perfect gift for the wine lover or the holding on to a new seasonal tradition. “Surprise” products featured in this year’s calendar include four 50ml bottles each of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey and Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey, three bottles of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Fire and Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple, and two bottles each of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Rye, Gentleman Jack and Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Select. The calendar will also feature premium products, including four glasses with multiple logo from the Jack Daniel’s family of brands.”

Again, this has not been confirmed by the PR people, but it has a 2020 rule on it, so I think it is now. If you like your highball made using Jack Daniel’s (either Jack and Coke or Jack etc.) then you might want to check this out. My Whole Wine is on sale for $18.99.

I don’t know if this is from this year. I thought it might be from the last holiday season because it was at the end in the Rum section of my local Total Wine. (I took all these pictures at Total Wine because they were too busy to look at the side of the man taking pictures of their stock without buying it.) This comes with a large Glencairn glass. of the size “Snifter” that you like. your piece of Jack Daniel’s. I personally am not a fan of Glencairn whiskey glasses because I like the feel of a rocks glass or this would have come home with me too.

I think this is also overstock. I haven’t heard back from the folks at Woodford Reserve about what they did this year, but I know it’s the same as last year. I know that because last year, I bought two of them. I bought two because this box only came with one cup. But it’s a great cup and I want more than one. It’s one that I reach for often on my nightly nights. It feels beautiful.

Spectacular Mens Christmas Gifts In 2023 He Will Love

Look for it at your local counter this year. I like these. Mostly because I love whiskey memories almost as much as I love whiskey. Sometimes I even buy a souvenir without buying the whiskey. But usually only in gift shops or antique shops.

Oh, and I got a reply from the folks who hold the Jim Beam Small Batch Collection, Old Forester, and Barton/Buffalo Trace that they won’t be making holiday gifts this year. Just need to know. The other thing I miss, it is because it is not sold near me or the PR people never responded or both. But, yes. This has been long enough. I hope you all had a safe and Happy Thanksgiving and that you didn’t receive too many Black Friday emails.

Did you enjoy this post? If so, maybe you want to buy me a cup of coffee back. Go on
