Update Christmas List Stuff Review – Whenever we think of what to gift our friend. We tend to pick Benson’s favorite things this year. I’ve included some of his favorites in the Traveler’s Gift Guide, but if the guy on your list isn’t a traveler. Here are some of my husband’s favorites that make great gifts for men!
Years ago, I just used to round up things that looked good. But about a year or two ago I switched to mainly my husband’s recommendations and my favorite products. I think gift guides are more useful when you know the product is of good quality or was given as a gift and was well received. Some of the products on each list are things I probably haven’t personally tried yet. But these are usually products that I have researched and have been on my wish list for years However, most of each gift guide is something that I can attest to being amazing and useful in life!

Many items will be repeated from previous years. As I said many of them are products that Benson and I trust and are of good quality. So they don’t change every year. They have been through heavy use. And we didn’t feel the need to change anything because it’s just awesome! This is what my husband is loving this year.

1. Flannel Shirt – Bonobos’ slim fit shirts fit him perfectly. Normally Banana Republic would “just work” for him, but Bonobos fits a little better. For a perfect fit
3 and 4. Sneakers – Option 3 and Option 4 both look like boots. But it feels like sneakers. They are really nice way. In making casual outfits and I’m serious when I say they make my husband’s outfits look cool! We love the 3-color option that “enhances” every outfit and makes every outfit stand out. Unfortunately, she was in her size and her feet were a little sore. After wearing it for a week and hoping it will stretch. He had to get rid of it. We got the 4th option instead, same feel and she still looks cool. But the color of the 3rd option is better!
6. Water Bottle – I’ve said it before. But these water bottles are the best. We sell all our friends because they keep water cold for up to 24 hours and hot for up to 6 hours. They come in different sizes, colors and lid types.

7. Tumbler – After being fascinated with water bottles for a long time, Benson “gasped” at this mug. I guess it’s supposed to be beer so that every last sip is perfectly chilled, but Benson uses it for both cold and hot water. It is very good to heat water in winter. And cups with cold water won’t condense or sweat. Plus cool for a while! “It’s quite expensive for a cup,” he repeated. But I don’t regret getting it.”
8. Down jacket – Benson has done this for years. A lot of people where I grew up had these. (Not where it’s colder here in SoCal lol!) They are very skinny but full down. Benson wore this shirt in a thin layer. He will wear this shirt as a thin layer over a flannel shirt or when we go to a colder area. Not as warm as under other jackets
10. iPhone Charging Stand – This is a “Wow!” Not a gift, but Benson has one on his desk and two in our kitchen to use when we’re in the common area and when guests return. For some reason it gets a lot of praise when people use it! Although it is not difficult to plug a phone with a regular cable, it is not difficult. But there are some that are really good. About placing your phone in this dock to charge. And how to set the phone upright so you can see messages or notifications without reaching for them. It’s one of those “feel-good little things” things for your phone.
11. Baseball T-Shirt – This is from Goodfellow & Co., Target’s new line. I was able to write an entire post about this line and my husband’s thoughts on this line. Basically the style and fit of high-end men’s casual and sportswear. (Which my husband also likes. Can you see how Option 1 is a $98 flannel shirt? He has expensive taste!) Which is pretty good quality, but at a lower price. Most of the products Benson tried looked pretty good. But, of course, you always prefer products that feel cheap—this is true in every store. This baseball t-shirt, in particular, is one of his favorites. I asked what he liked so much about it and he replied, “So many details!” Ex: It is thicker than other baseball t-shirts. The sleeves are full length where most baseball t-shirt sleeves are. 3/4 cuff ends rather than being loose like most baseball t-shirts. The curved bottom hem and upper slit have contrast stitching on the side shoulders and a V-shaped stitching on the neckline for detail and interest. And the price is under $15!!! Other things she wants to try are field jackets, faux leather jackets and quilted shirt jackets.

12. Massage Machine – This is from last year’s gift guide. And we then gave it to 3 men, all still love it. My friend brought this to his conference last month. And there everyone used it everywhere. And each person ordered it himself right there! Hahahaha! Help loosen knots that are hard to reach. And I like to give myself a massage because sometimes I feel bad about being massaged by someone!
13. Massage Stick – We added this to the collection earlier this year as a replacement for the foam roller. It comes in different sizes and we have the 17 inch so we can pack it when we travel. Handy for long trips when there’s nothing to do but leave those knots!
17. Black Soft Jeans – It’s Old Navy! It is exceptionally soft and flexible. My husband got it last year and still wears it and loves it. Even if it was for men I tried to see what my husband had to say. They look like the piez denim I own that retails for $180, except these are lower and for men. Our friend Benson went to try them right after seeing them and he absolutely loved them. They are too thin for his taste! The good news is that there are different cuts with the same stretch. 18. Layering Tea – Benson and I both swear by this. We wear them when it’s cold. and is often cut low at the neckline with a slim waist and short sleeves. So you won’t see them pop out from your neck or sleeves or waist under your normal clothing. They are thin and keep you warm. But there are sweat wicking materials to prevent sweating. And it’s good for your wallet!

22. Cashmere Pullover – This is one of the few things Benson doesn’t have on this list. Because he is usually too warm for such pullovers in our house. But he likes this style. There are 8 colors. Good looking and very affordable!
23. Grooming Kit – This is another item that Benson doesn’t have, but I might consider getting one for him. I became more interested in Kiehl’s products for women. And I’ve heard good things the same goes for their men’s products. This starter kit is an inexpensive way to try their product range!
