But even though it may be canceled this year, I’m still looking forward to Christmas and I hope you are too. To cheer you up and hopefully help you find something nice for your loved ones, I’ve put together a little beauty gift guide. Update Christmas Gift Guide 2020 Review
Of all the beauty things you can buy for Christmas, makeup is one of the easier options in my opinion. I mean, who doesn’t love makeup? (Well, I’m sure there are a few of you out there!) And gift options come in all shapes and sizes, whether you’re looking to splurge or want to go all out. With so much to choose from, it can get a little overwhelming, so I’ve chosen four options to give you an idea and a place to start.

One of the brands I wanted to include in the mix is ​​Nabla, an independent Italian brand that offers high quality and effective products that are very affordable. Their diamond collection is just that: beautiful. Part of the collection are five eye shadow palettes, four stylos (eyeliners) and three lipsticks that I got from the Wild Berry collection. As far as I know, you can’t buy them as a set as shown in the picture above, however, they are worth seeing in person as they are very affordable and high quality. Perfect for your makeup loving cousin or any other makeup artist for that matter.
Finally, Nares Mini Afterglow Lip Balm Duo. A sweet filler that includes two colorful lip colors – Fast Lane and Orgazm. I love these balms and they are perfect for the winter months. They give a natural but better look to the lips. It’s also very important that these minis come in the same original metal frames as the full-size models, which gives them a luxurious feel.
I’m into skincare and I’m so proud to share three of my favorite brands with you. Starting with Algenist, a brand that uses algae-derived alguronic acid as the main ingredient in its products. They are cruelty free and vegan and focus on ingredients that work. I’ve been a fan of Algenist since I tried Genius Sleeping Collagen a year and a half ago and have loved every product I’ve tried. Algenist definitely falls under luxury skin care, so the products are pricey but worth every penny in my opinion.

Every year, ARK offers a selection of great gifts, from shoe refills to complete sets. I picked up two small cheek fillers which I think are a good way to introduce the brand. Last but not least, Murad is another brand that I fell in love with since I tried their products. Established in 1989, Murad was the first clinical skin care product brand to offer high performance skin care. Their motto: “Stress Less, Be Perfect, Live More.” – the doctor. Christmas Gift Guide 2020
Like Algenist, Murad is a luxury brand, so I appreciate that not everyone may be in a position to try their products full size. However, Christmas is the perfect time to check out their gift sets as they offer great fillers. One of them is the You Dew You * Set, which contains a Nourishing Water Gel (15ml) and an AHA/BHA Nourishing Cleanser (30ml). Valued at £21, the collection is a great start for those who already have a solid skincare routine or travel size.
I wanted to include body care as well because everyone deserves a good shower and there are some great products out there. Take, for example, this Paris perfume*. The packaging gives me all the Louboutin vibes and screams luxury. It is beautifully made and comes in a beautiful storage box that will look great on any vanity. The perfume itself is available in small glass bottles (see photo above) that can be placed in a larger bottle. You get two small vials per package. I love this idea because it means you can easily change your scent with the weather or time of year.
