We decided to spend a few days in Ottawa and move on for a longer family vacation for all of us.

There is no publication. After getting Abby settled in her new room, we still had one more day before most of us headed back to Calgary.
So, we took a tour of Toronto – walking down the writing street, hitting Queen St. some light shopping, and making our way to the top of the CN Tower before buying more at the Stackd market. The day is hard for all of us but so is the cycle of life. Abby is now a college kid and our house is suddenly 50% quiet.

But never fear, Abby came home for Thanksgiving and Lianne and I flew to Ontario in mid-November to visit them. Sheridan’s classes were online for the first semester, which made college life more isolated and lonely than we expected.
