The focus bracketing feature allows the user to specify the number of images taken – up to 1000 frames – and incremental differences between focus positions. There is also a facility to delay the first exposure to allow all camera vibration to dissipate before the sequence begins.
A separate release sees new firmware for the XCD 45P lens that will make it compatible with the new bracketing focus feature and fix an issue that saw AF being canceled if the user was holding the lens’ focus ring.
