After various rumors and leaks, Samsung has introduced the popular BTS-inspired editions of the Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy Buds+ in South Korea. The new Samsung Galaxy S20+ BTS Edition and Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition have been introduced for BTS fans to take advantage of and get their hands on devices that remind them of their favorite band. The Samsung Galaxy S20+ and S20+ 5G BTS editions feature a purple glass and metal body, inspired by the band’s color. The smartphone also features a heart-shaped logo on the rear camera module, which is also the BTS logo. The BTS Edition smartphone comes with BTS themes and the pre-installed Weverse fan community platform. In addition, the Galaxy S20+ BTS Edition packaging comes with BTS stickers and photo cards of band members.

The Galaxy S20+ BTS Edition shares its features and specifications with the original Galaxy S20+. It comes with a 6.7-inch Quad HD Dynamic AMOLED 120Hz display and is available in two processor variants: Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 and Exynos 990 depending on the markets. It comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, which can be further expanded up to 1TB via a memory card.

On the camera front there are four rear cameras (64MP main camera, 12MP ultra-wide angle lens, 12MP wide angle lens, DepthVision camera) and a 10MP front camera. It is backed by a 4,500mAh battery with ultra-fast charging and runs Samsung OneUI 2.0 based on Android 10. It also comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner, IP68 water resistance and wireless charging.

The Samsung Galaxy S20+ BTS Edition will be available for pre-order starting June 19 via Weverse and the company’s website. They will be available for purchase starting July 9, which marks the seventh anniversary of the BTS fan collective. However, there is no word on whether or not the prices will change for the new versions.

The Samsung Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition comes with a purple charging case and a purple heart logo on each earbud. The Galaxy Buds+ BTS edition also includes photo cards of band members in the box.

As far as features and specifications are concerned, Galaxy Buds+ comes with support for two-way speakers, 3 microphones and AKG audio. It comes with up to 11 hours of use on a single charge with support for wireless charging and fast charging. Additionally, the truly wireless headphones feature touch controls and are compatible with both Android and iOS smartphones.

The Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition will be available for pre-order starting June 16 via Samsung.com and Weverse, and will also go on sale July 9. Just like the Galaxy S20+ BTS Edition, there is no information on the prices of the headphones. The Samsung Galaxy S20+ BTS Edition is powered by the octa-core Exynos 990 SoC and comes with 8GB of RAM with 128GB of storage.

Samsung Galaxy S20+ BTS Edition has received a price cut in India and now costs Rs. 77, 999. The new price is available on Samsung India’s official website. The BTS edition of the Galaxy S20+ launched in June alongside the Samsung Galaxy Buds+ BTS edition. This version is inspired by the South Korean pop sensation and comes with a purple back panel. The specs of this variant remain the same as the regular Galaxy S20+, with the only difference being a boy band logo on the back panel and some BTS-inspired preloaded themes.

Samsung Galaxy S20+ BTS Edition has been launched at MRP Rs. 87,999 for the only 128GB storage model in India and is currently listed for an MRP Rs. 77, 999 on the Samsung India website. The price has been reduced by Rs. 10,000 and we have contacted Samsung to confirm if it is fixed.

Samsung also offers free EMI options starting at Rs. 12, 999.83, 10 percent instant cashback up to Rs. 1,500 in EMI for HDFC Bank Credit/Debit Cards. Customers can also get a flat Rs. 200 cashback via Airtel Money/ Payments Bank on a minimum transaction of Rs. 2,000.

Samsung Galaxy S20+ BTS Edition runs on Android 10 with one UI on top. It features a 6.7-inch QHD (1,440×3,200 pixels) Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by an octa-core Exynos 990 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM.

For photography, the Galaxy S20+ BTS Edition features a triple rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel wide-angle sensor with f/1.8 lens, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 lens And a depth sensor. Up front, you get a 10-megapixel selfie shooter housed inside the hole punch.

The Samsung Galaxy S20+ BTS edition now costs ₹77,999 after the price cut. The smartphone was launched at a price of ₹87,999 and comes with a single storage option of 128GB. The new price can be seen on Samsung’s website, but whether it is a permanent or temporary price reduction has not been confirmed. No cost EMI options and 10% cashback on the Galaxy S20+ BTS edition.

The BTS edition actually costs a lot more than the regular S20+ models which cost ₹49,999 for the 128GB variant. Other than the BTS branding and the purple color, the specs are the same on this Galaxy S20+. The K-Pop group logo and heart iconography are emblazoned on the back of the phone. It also comes with pre-loaded BTS themes and a fan community called “Weverse”.

In terms of specifications, the Galaxy S20+ BTS Edition features a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a quad camera setup with a combination of 12-megapixel, 64-megapixel and dual VGA cameras. The smartphone has a 10-megapixel selfie camera. Galaxy S20+ contains 8GB of RAM and supports expandable storage up to 1TB.

The smartphone is powered by the Exynos 990 chipset. On the software front, it runs Android 10 with One UI on top. The Galaxy S20+ BTS edition has a 4,500mAh battery with a Type-C port. It also supports wireless charging and reverse wireless charging.
