The big thing we have for you this evening is this: I wrote our in-depth review of Indiana Jones: 4-Movie Collection in 4K Ultra HD from Paramount Home Entertainment and Lucasfilm. The modified 4K image of the first three films is amazing, while the fourth film benefits from some HDR and some 4K-scan from the wrong camera here and there (shot without VFX). Meanwhile, Ben Burtt’s new Dolby Atmos mix is perfect for the whole crowd.

Film Detective is releasing Lesley Selander’s Flight to Mars (1951) on Blu-ray and DVD on 7/20. We can’t forget that 7/20 is the anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing. Produced by Walter Mirisch, the film was remastered in 4K from the original separation of the 35 mm Cinecolor negative by the excellent collection of Paramount Pictures Archives. The album will include new Ballyhoo Motion Pictures shorts (Mirisch: From Bomba to Body Snatchers and Interstellar Travelogues: Cinema’s First Space Race) and more.

It hasn’t been announced yet, but Sony Pictures Home Entertainment plans to unveil the 4K Ultra HD release of Rian Johnson’s Looper on 7/13. All bonus features are said to be in full 4K. Extras include audio commentary by Rian Johnson, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Emily Blunt, five episodes (Looper: From the Beginning, Scoring Looper, Science of Time Travel, The Two Joes, and New Future, Old School), 21 Deleted Photos and commentary about Rian Johnson and Noah Segan, and Looper Animated Trailer. We will post the Amazon link and cover the artwork as soon as it is approved.

Okay, one last thing now… I hope you all saw our updated article on Wednesday about Paramount’s comment about the rumored Star Trek I-IV 4K release that was released early this morning. Their official statement is that the Amazon France listing has been removed and they “have no news to announce at this time.” Now, twenty and a half years of experience in the market tells me that if the release of 4K is completely fake, the studio will quickly reject it. So my gut… as well as information from sources… tells me that this release is real, but the studio is not ready to make an official announcement yet. Remember that the 9/8 date mentioned on the road is no coincidence – it is the anniversary of Star Trek: The Original Series. My guess is that the studio should announce this release before the 55th anniversary of the Creation Star Trek convention in Las Vegas (8/11-15), so they can talk about it at the event. Until then… my advice to all of you is to stay calm, and stay tuned for more information on this in the coming weeks and months.

RT @ArrowFilmsVideo: Summer is about to hit the Movie Stores with Wing Chu, water stories, lighthouses, big yakuza action and… Most importantly, the 4K transfers of these movies look better than their old home releases.

The real selling point of getting these movies on 4K/HDR Blu-ray is the visual upgrade, and boy is it huge. Although you have seen these films from the Blu-ray release of more than ten years ago, which brought these films to 1080p high definition, the explosion here in 4K is amazing. Log in

The model shows the details of the surface structure more than before, and the high-quality visuals bring out the glittering reflections of the ship and the bright windows against the dark sky and clear background. The first thing we wanted to see in this story was the appearance of the King’s group, and we were not disappointed.

Even better thanks to HDR the main points of the torpedoes and explosions, although the 4K transfer means that the CGI models are not close to their useful brothers. Ba’ku’s beautiful pastoral scene in Crime comes home thanks to the detailed environment and HDR rendering. And, of course, who doesn’t want to see Captain Kirk tortured on the bridge of the Enterprise-B

The video release will have a similar style, which will be good news for collectors. Inside there are eight discs, four containing each film in 4K / HDR with special features, and the fourth containing each in 1080p with many entry bonuses. The package also includes a voucher to redeem these movies on digital via Apple TV, Vudu and Movies Anywhere.

Training Day 4k Ultra Hd Review: A Classic As It Was Meant To Be Seen

It is important to note that there are no special innovations in this category. All the specials here are made for the release of the movies DVD or Blu-ray release in 2009. We do not expect new things in this collection, because there is nothing that collects the film TOS (except for the new remaster of The Motion). Image), but we think that Paramount missed a good opportunity to promote Star Trek: Picard for a third season. Wouldn’t it be a great idea to have some creative ideas from Picard to talk about the movies and show attractions for the final TNG adventure? Wouldn’t it be nice to have Jonathan Frakes talking about directing a movie like that

O Attack compared to controlling Picard (which, for all intents and purposes, feels like we’re watching a movie)?
