The Zendure SuperMini 20W can be almost as small and light as a power bank while still providing enough power to charge most smartphones up to three times. The Zendure SuperMini 20W is the total package when it comes to charging smartphones or other small electronic devices on the go. It’s compact and light — about the size of a deck of cards and as heavy as the iPhone 13 — but its power rating is higher than anything we’ve tested. If you want a power bank that can easily slip into your pocket or purse when you’re out the door but still holds enough juice to charge most smartphones three times, this is the one to have.
The Zendure has ports on each end: a USB-C PD port on one side that can be used for both output and input (ie how you charge your own power bank), and a standard output USB-A port on the other. . In our tests, we measured a maximum input of 18.6 watts and a maximum of 19.3 watts from the USB-C port, and a maximum output of 16.6 watts from the USB-A port. While these numbers are slightly lower than its 20 W output rating, the SuperMini is still powerful enough to charge devices at high speeds from either port, or charge two devices simultaneously at a slightly slower speed. With a capacity rating of 10,000 mAh, you can fully charge your phone up to three times (or make instant friends by charging other people’s phones – that “helps cigarettes” in the digital age).

The exterior of the Zendur is a hard, glossy plastic shell that is relatively resistant to stains and scratches. It comes in different colors (red, green, black, silver, blue and pink) and, measuring 3.1 by 2.2 by 1 inches, fits in the palm of your hand. It weighs 6.4 ounces – about the size of a hockey puck, which is lighter than the 10,000 mAh power bank we tested.

The Supermini unit is backed by Zendure’s two-year warranty—longer than any model we’ve tested—which should give you plenty of time to test it out and make sure you don’t have any defects. We’ve also had a great experience with Zendure’s customer support over the five years we’ve been reviewing their products.
The main drawback of the Supermini is the lack of built-in cables. We prefer to have cables attached to charge our devices rather than supply and transport our own – they take up extra space, get tangled and prone to malfunction. And unlike our other options, which can be charged via a built-in cable or plug, the SuperMini requires a separate cable (included in the box) to charge. But we think the fact that it packs so much power into a tiny package outweighs the small burden of packing a separate charging cable or two. This means the Supermini can charge a wide variety of devices, especially older ones that don’t use the latest connectors.
We don’t like the raised ridges on the main surface of the Supermini, which make it look like a small hardshell suitcase, but that’s a cosmetic quibble. Also, these protuberances make it easy to locate the power bank by feeling it among other contents of the purse or tote. It adds some extra grip compared to other models we’ve tested that have completely smooth exteriors
If the Zendure SuperMini 20W isn’t available and you want the best in terms of power and portability: get the Anker PowerCore 10000 PD Redux or the Anker PowerCore Slim 10000 PD (depending on price and the size and color you want.) Both models are supermini (10,000 mAh ) are rated for the same capacity as and are pocketable, although slightly larger. The Supermini weighs 6.4 ounces, the Redux weighs 6.8 ounces, and the Slim weighs 7.4 ounces. Like the Supermini, both models have a USB-C PD port that can charge a smartphone or other handheld device (and charge itself) at high speeds, as well as a USB-A output port.
