Update A50s Price 2021 Review – With the latest software, Samsung is giving the Galaxy A50s some interesting features previously seen on devices like the Galaxy S20. For starters, owners of the year-and-a-half-year-old device will now be able to use Samsung’s handheld camera mode, Single Take, which captures photos and videos using multiple cameras, just by pressing the shutdown button.

The Galaxy A50s runs Android 9.0 Pie and overlays Samsung’s One UI 1.5 user interface on top of a new mid-range Exynos 9611 processor. The Exynos 9611 is a modest upgrade from the Galaxy A50’s Exynos 9610, also built on the 10nm FinFet process. It has the same octa-core setup consisting of four sets of 2.3GHz Cortex A73 cores and four sets of A53 1.7GHz cores with a Mali G72 MP3 GPU. If the 9611 adds support for a more powerful rear camera, clock speeds and performance are similar. At the launch event, Samsung Malaysia was keen to provide the Galaxy A50s with upgrades that have become the exclusive domain of high-end Galaxy S and Note smartphones. The biggest update is the introduction of edge screen functionality.
For those unfamiliar, the edge screen feature allows users to swipe tabs from the edge of the screen to reveal a list of shortcuts for easy access.
